As eager as we are for Kingdom Hearts 3, I feel compelled to remind you all that official word from Tetsuya Nomura has it that every game up to and including KH3 are all part of the "Xehanort Saga," which implies that there shall be more sagas to come.

Now, take into account how many games have been in this saga alone. My question at this point is whether or not all the "sagas" in the KH series will have this many games? If so, how many sagas will there be?

Whatever the case, it seems that the Kingdom Hearts story will be continuing for a looong time to come.

    Any thoughts?

If the games keep selling, I'm sure they'll keep putting the games out, and we'll have just as many in the next "saga" (ugh, using the term "saga" just makes the franchise seem so uncool now. Thanks, Twilight.)

If you want my opinion as a fan, I think it's a bad idea to stretch the story out too far. Even if you focus on other characters, away from the "Xehanort saga", there's only so much time you can spend in one universe before it gets old. I have to say that I don't have a whole lot of interest in what goes beyond this chapter of the tale. I just want to see this part through to the end.

I wonder if Nomura will do a "Princess" saga. One that revolves around the princesses of hearts.

Personally, I think they should end it with the Xehanort Saga. I'd hate for KH to be the next FFVII

What point is there for that? Even if Kairi can always use a keyblade, the other six have a tendency to get captured and be damsels in distress. There is no point in having a "Princess" Saga.

Exactly. But I have a feeling they'll just keep going and going.

The princesses of heart are all boring. We know most of their tales because we watch Disney movies. And I at least have no interest in finding any more out about Kairi. It's annoying enough that we'll probably end up fighting alongside her at some point, despite the fact that she's a token damsel in distress character.

I am just stating a possibility and nothing else. It might be a saga way before BBSS surrounding the keyblade graveyard.

Something like that would be my guess. Or else something far into the future. I don't think they should focus on characters close to Sora- if they're gonna make a new story arc, they should use all new characters, imo.

As long as Donald and Goofy stay in the future games, i'm sold.

So wait, that means BBS all the way to KH3 is a whole saga? Please. KH1 and CoM are their own styles.

KH1 and CoM have their own styles, but every KH game so far is part of the Xehanort saga. Who was the final boss of both games? Xehanort's heartless (I say he's the final boss for CoM because he is timeline-wise). Basically, the Xehanort saga is all the KH games where Xehanort is the big enemy (Even if he doesn't appear in a game, at all or as a boss).

I dont mind them doing another saga, as long as they have planned it. If they havent, they may as well end it with KH3.
