Short Cuts

    Goldfish Cats in the Cradle

    Do you use the Short Cut system, The Hold L1 to cast magic or use an item?
    What did you assign each button for?

    I Had, in general...
    >X=Cure; Easiest to press in dire situations.
    >O=Reflect; It's like a circle so it makes sense.
    >SQUARE=Thunder; It's an easy follow up after a combo.
    >TRIANGLE=Magnet; Just decided to put in an Advanced spell, also it was handy against Nobodies.

    But when I was up against bosses like Sephiroth, I would change it.
    >X=Cure
    >O=Reflect
    >SQUARE=Potion
    >TRIANGLE=Elixer

    Share your assigned short cut buttons and why was it assigned like that.

    i generally have X as cure,triangle as thunder,and O as an item.Square ends being the most useful magic for the situation,usually reflect.

    Man. I forgot about the square, circle thing, but in the short cut section, I used cure, refecltga, thundaga, & ... ... ... magnet.

    Mine.... (KH2 Version, when hunting)
    >X=Thunder;
    >O= Magnet, Simple...
    >SQUARE=Reflect, like doing guard
    >TRIANGLE= Ether;

    KH2 version, boss battle

    >X=Thunder;
    >O= Either Potion, Ether, Elixir, or blizzard
    >SQUARE=Reflect,
    >TRIANGLE= Cure;

    Riku 1996, notice how this thread has not been active for quite some time. A bit over 4 months in this case.
