Sick. Bleh. I need some comfort...

    Howdy guys. Well it's Saturday morning (6:55 AM) and I am sick. My parents think it's an average cold, but the symptoms are basically sore throat, stuffed up nose, dizziness, headache, and etc.

    It all started on Thursday night when I took a shower- when I got out I had a small sore throat. So my Ma made me tea and such. In the morning after Zicam-stuff and some Advil for my headache, I wasn't any better.

    I went through a whole day of school, completed my shifts at work, and went to acting class like this. I feel like shit.

    Leave me a comment, say some comforting words. What do you recommend I do to help get better? What medication is better? When have you been really sick?

    P.S: Sorry if my typing is bad. I have like no connection between my brain and fingers today.

    Poor u! hope u feel better! i recomend u jsut stay in bed......no idea about meds.....
    im still sick from this day forward....but cold-wise a week ago when i was walkin home in the rain! =3

    I'm afraid to say it... you have terminal cancer...


    But seriously, have you been to the doctors? Just to find out what you have. Might be a cold, maybe the average flu. Perhaps Bronchitos.
    As for what to do, just take it easy and eat well. Keep yourself wrapped up and drinking water.

    :( It starting to sound like the swine flu to me. Seriously. You need to go to the doctor. DX I really don't want you to end up like this 14 year old girl that my pastor saw on the news.

    :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

    You guys are the best, it really makes me feel good. But the weird part is that last week I went to get the H1-N1 shot, but they didn't have it so I had to get the Flu-shot. Maybe it's just some side-effects.

    Just take loads of rest, and Beechams tablets work really well

    Anyway, have an ice cold shower and sleep with your window open. You will forget about your cold then... :D

    Aww geez, being sick sucks. :/

    Best thing you can do is to take it easy, don't overwork yourself.

    Get plenty of fluids and eat well.

    Hope you feel better soon! ~

    DRINK A LOT OF APPLE & ORANGE JUICE! It might help! Also, DRINK A LOT OF COLD WATER@ It works for me.

    Man I hate sore throats! Never drink cold milk when you have one and avoid raising your voice. Try to drink lots of water even though it makes your throat feel weird. Try hot milk with honey. It will go away by it self but another really good remedy is make some hot water and put some salt in it. Then you just gargle and let it sit in your throat sort of. This method will really help trust me. I hope you feel better :)

    Yup, my mom used to do that to me all the time. :)

    Anyway, to thank all you guys for caring so much while my immune system is so low- I'm trying all your different treatments and remedies right now, and I'll also make sure to take a cold shower and leave the window opened tonight. ;)
