Slenderman (OOC & SU)

All throughout the ages, man has told stories of monsters. Tales of creatures so horrible even the bravest of men felt fear for them. But there are some monsters who prefer to exist in the shadows. They work and hunt in secret never allowing humans to know of their existence. Among these monsters is the Slenderman. The Slenderman is a creature of unknown origins, who prefers to stalk and prey upon little children rather than adults. He has no known weaknesses. The Slenderman appeares to be human except for a few distinctive features. for one thing h is very tall and thin, hence his name. He wears a black business suit with a white shirt and black tie as a way to "hide in plain sight" at least from a distance. And his most obvious feature is that his face has no features. No eyes no mouth nothing, just a blank white humanoid head. instead of arms Slenderman has tenticles that can extend themselves to his will, as well as numerous other tentacles hidden in his back.

Now Slenderman has chosen to hunt a new group of kids. none of which have ever met the others before this.

Alright here's the lowdown: You will become one of the kids SlenderMan is after. you will never have met the others "Slendy" is after before nore have you ever heard of Slenderman before, if you need to address Slendy just call him "the creature" "that thing" etc. since you will be kids (about 8-16) you will have none of the following weapons: Guns, Swords of any kind, Cars (though I may allow one person to have a drivers license that way there will be a way for the kids to come together at some point in the story.)

you will be able to have "household" weapons. I.E. stuff you would find in a kid friendly house. (kitchen knife, baseball bat etc but be reasonable) also you will not start out the RP with your weapon or the knowledge that Slenderman is stalking you. (I forgot to mention earlier that Slendy prefers to hunt in the woods, so make your location near a forest or woods or something.) your location should be somewhere in the US (since I can only find stories of Slendy in the US that's right I found out about this over the internet I did not make up this guy on my own.)

alright I'm back. Fine I will revoke the gun rule...but on certain conditions: keep it simple like a pistol or a basic hunting rifle. nothing too heavy. and also know that Slenderman cannot be killed, I know it sounds cheap but its all stuff I found on the internet. The way to get out of a Slenderman encounter is to find a way to evade him or....well to die. That's where the 16 year old and the car will come in.

(also feel free to have your character use a video camera or something, just to add a different dimension to the story, like they record themselves in the woods trying to get Slenderman on film or something...just a sugestion.)

so now down to judgeing your characters.

8-Bit: I see what you did there...trying to get around the gun/sword rule. yea...no...well maybe the toy sword, but lose the pellet gun. just cuz I'm spiteing you for trying to spite me. But at least include WHY you use a toy sword at some point during the RP.

King: alright, you are accepted, but since you're out 16 year old you have the responsibility of bringing our cast together at some point in the RP I will PM you with details on how that should go down later.

 

hmmm ok but use it sparingly. overuse will make me reconsider my revoke of the rule. also I will start the RP when we get one more person to sign up.

you know what? screw it. if you guys want to make another kid feel free. we can do this RP with just the three of us.
