Some Ideas To Come

Being that I'm pretty much back, I'd like to take some time to rundown some ideas I've been juggling around for the passed few days. Some of them are RP ideas. Others are general ideas for the RP section as a whole.

Nighttime In Echo Hill Manor

A group of teens decides to become local legends, and spend Halloween night in the supposedly haunted Echo Hill Manor. A somewhat darker RP, which I'll be basing around such documentary/docudrama TV series as A Haunting, The Haunted, and other similar shows. I'll probably post an OOC for this in early September, and hopefully it'll get started by Mid-September, and actually be a Halloween-Themed RP that winds up happening within the right time frame. ​

3rd Annual Halloween Bash

Another Halloween Themed endeavor. Requiem started this in 2010, and last year I continued it. So I figure I'll give it another run. Basically, the Arena will see itself host to a tournament between various Halloween themed characters. Vampires, ghouls, witches, werewolves etc. will all be welcome to attend. ​

Bringing Back An Old Idea

On multiple occasions on the RP Forums here, we've run Kingdom Hearts RPs that center around a "New Organization." That is, RPs in which a new group of Nobodies, akin to Organization XIII surface, and history enters a rinse, wash, repeat phase. I've been thinking about the last time I saw this idea run, and have been considering taking the idea to different level in terms of structure and plot. As with the older versions of such RPs, it will be a generally open world, as far as having a plot. Mind you, there will be goals set for points throughout the RP's lifespan to hold it together. But ultimately, everyone will be able to come up with their own ideas for it. I'd probably have this up in the next week or two, if people are interested in giving it another whirl. ​

Where I Left Off

Now that I'm back, I intend to, for the most part, pick up where left off as far as my endeavors here. Namely, I'll be working personally to refine the Arena sub-section, to make it a little more friendly to the general RP population. ​

 

That's the plan for it. I'll probably start that OOC around early-mid September.

 

Well don't fret none. I've got both of those bases covered.

 

Like I said, starting earlier with the festive stuff is the plan. I mean to start the sign-ups for the Bash pretty much as soon as September starts. Maybe even sooner, just for the sake of having it end within an appropriate time frame.

If no one is particularly interested in anything else so far, then I'll probably begin prepping for the Bash, that way there's fewer snags along the way.

 

Well, seeing as there's really nothing else going on around here these days, I'll see what I can do with that.

 

I'm not so sure we'll have enough of a cast to pull that off though....

 

I suppose. It'd just be nice to have a solid cast somewhere in the double digits for it.
