    XD I am just curious due to the ever growing and never-stopping love for the two series... and I just find it amusing that both of them has "Stars" in the title so it is good to pin the two against each other. Which series do you favor based on any reasons? Is it Star Trek or is it Star Wars.

    i prefer star wars. i kinda grew up on when my older brothers would watch it and then i developed a small love for it. i never watched star trek cause it never seemed that interesting but i may be wrong now. who knows....

    Star Wars. It got the finest characters, species and races. The lightsaber is cool, it slices anything fast than a sword.
    It even got the biggest vehicles anyway.

    -_____- I didn't even vote Blackie. I never even see Star Trek. Only one episode. I didn't want to vote so that I would fall into Kitty's category of "Never reading/watching or hearing". But is there anyone who ever watch Star Trek that could back them up?

    Star Wars.
    It wasn't over done. (Star Trek had like hundreds of episodes and several movies.)
    Great character development. And Star Wars isn't as corny as Star Wrek.

    I've seen Star Wrek a few times. IMO it was horrible.
    New movie was okay. Old TV shows though: sucked.

    definitely star wars for me. harrison ford and mark hamill and carrie fisher <333
    didn't like the new movies with natalie portman and hayden christensen.
    and i don't like the re-mastered versions of the first movies.

    i've seen very little star trek, but i saw the movie that came out in... 2008? 2009? it was pretty good.

    For me there's a different feel to them both, so I say equal.
    But I've actually seen more star trek than star wars, I'm one of the few here who've actually watched most of the series.

    It's really hard for me to compare them. Star Wars is a 1930's Abstract Space Adventure, which are movies first, and Startrek is kinda like a boat drama in space. At least the t.v. shows are more like that.

    Star Wars will always be my first love. But I'm a big trekie too.

    Wow... Star Trek is not popular I guess...Star Wars did have many series and is ongoing in contrast to Star Trek so I guess it is obvious.

    Nah, Startrek is actually plenty popular. It just goes through spells. Right now is one of them. But the J.J. Abrams movies seem to be somewhat popular.

    VentusSearcher Steam is the only way....

    I have to go with Star Wars on this one due to it's amazing world and characters. I also enjoyed the action aspect of Star Wars whereas Star Trek is get's meets it's strong point in it's character development.
