Super Mario 64 DS

    I got this game as a birthday present. I have 32 stars right now. I am currently stuck because I cannot find a switch. This switch turns the ? blocks solid. I have looked at Game FAQs but cannot find out how to get it. Does anyone here know what to do?

    Are you still playing the game? If you are, you look at the sunlight for a couple of seconds and finish the level to turn the switch on and you get a star!

    I agree with hotchick, but since the game you got is on the DS instead of the Nintendo 64, I don't know if it is the same or not.

    I want to thank you for your posts. I am alot farther in the game now. I don't understand why the game doesn't tell you where to go.

    It do the same thing in the original Super Mario 64, but it does give you a hint in the original every time you is about to choose 1 of the 8 star missions. I don't know if it does on the DS though.
