I stepped out into the brisk, cold night air. The Dark Passage closed behind me. The area around me was weird, it looked like a moonlit beach. The guy with the blue hair(Saix, I think) told me to come here. Off in the distance, I spotted our Organization’s coat. Assuming the blue-haired guy wanted me to talk to him, I headed that way. As I approached him, he spoke in a deep, resonating voice. “I’ve been to see him. He looks a lot like you.”.
I didn’t know what he meant. I cautiously came closer and asked, “Who are you?”.
He responded, “I’m what’s left. Or maybe, I’m all there ever was.”.
I was now completely confused. I couldn’t see the man’s face because his hood was up. I hastily said, “I meant your name.”.
He looked at me for the first time. “My name is of no importance. What about you? Do you remember your true name?”.
I was caught off guard by his question. I knew my name was Roxas, but my true name? I started to answer him, but I stumbled over my words. “My true name is… is….”.
The man stood up and said, “You’ve been with us for 7 days now.”. He reach up and pulled down his hood. He had long silver hair with deep orange eyes. He continued, “The time has come.”. He began walking towards me. As he walked by me, he slammed his hand down hard on my shoulder and said, “Sora.”. He pushed me away and continued to walk. I turned and watched him disappear into the darkness. I pondered what ‘Sora’ meant. Was that my true name? Or was it some kind of derogatory term? I wasn’t sure. Confused, I opened a Dark Passage and returned to The Castle That Never Was.
