The dark sided Disney game, Epic Mickey is confirmed

are you insane? this game is looking great! i love the idea cause i always felt Disney was rather bland, using the same boring plotline for almost anything they were a part of. this is different and i for one am liking how its turning out so far.

I have to admit this is interesting.Disney doesnt do that much dark stuff,probably the darkest being Gargoyales as far as I can remember (Though Chains of Memories had its moments.Vexen's and Zexion's for example.)It also lets them reintroduce many of the old and forgotten Disney creations to the world again.And if you follow the link to Oswald the Rabbits page,it does say that Disney wanted to make a big splash with him for his return.To be honest,its probably gonna be Mickey saving the other characters,including the enemies,so the whole wierd Goofy/Donald/Tigger/others(?) will probably only be like that for a little while before he saves them,probably a boss.

 

You see,its all context!Someone has a video up where they are saying Mickey is going to blow his brains out and its gonna cause all that stuff too happen,but 1)Disney would never do that,or if they do for some reason want to kill Mickey,they would do it in a very heroic type way,and 2) The controversy over THAT would be way bigger then any controversy this will spark (And we all know it will).But through what we now the plot will be going in genrally,its not nearly as bad.Hell,the Blot guy hasnt been seen in forever!Never even knew bout him or Oswald.Its good screen time for the old characters

 

I've never quite liked any of the Wii games (PotC was interesting, thought), but this makes it a whole more interesting platform! Even thought someone may say it's sick and not suitable for kids (lol, of course not since it's so dark by it's plot and characters), it will be perfect for adults and I'm gonna totally buy this game when it comes out. Some pictures what have been revealed are superb and make me wait for this game even more excited.

I think that this is gonna be a big hit as a Wii game.

Though if I ever play this game I will probably have a valid fear of Its a Small World from then on out.Not that anyone needed a reason to fear it =P

He has had a change of heart about the game Moogle.

 

The pictures and areas remind me of Bioshock... I think this game is gonna be amazing.

 

Epic Mickey sounds pretty awesome if you ask me. I love that Disney can adapt itself to the current gaming world while still being the Disney that we all grew up with. :]

Actually, when they run out of ideas, they make few crappy 3D films.

Is there any new info released this far? Too lazy to go and check about it from Google.

 

The game looks as if it'll be great, but...They must've run out of ideas, i mean an evil disney characters?!? That's a really...strange and un-normal idea. I can't picture Goofy all evil and such, and besides, why are they taking revenge on mickey anyway? For being the most loveable disney character in history? XD

 

It does seem a little out of character, but then again its new and exciting.

I totally want this game when it comes out.
