    Goldfish Cats in the Cradle

    So you go out, buy some games and then never bother to finish a few for some reason.
    List, Reason. woo.

    I have a few games just sitting at the bottom of a box waiting to be picked up and finished.
    I have....
    > Resident Evil Outbreak File #2: Just too time consuming, not much of a story.
    > Final Fantasy X-2: I put it down after the first Mission. the setting, sounds, songs. Pretty much Everything made me Rage and just put it down and never speak of it again.
    > Star Ocean Till the End of Time: Got really far into it, File got deleted, and I quit.
    > Drakengard: Repetitive pushes of Triangle and maybe a square in between, Just not much of a gameplay.
    > A few PSP games (FF7: Crisis Core, MGS Ac!d2, MGS Portable Ops Special ed, Valkyrie Profile 2) since my PSP doesn't play games anymore.

    DX DON'T GIVE UP ON X-2!! JUST KEEP ON PLAYING! As for Star Ocean, don't quit on that! It's a real fun game! Valkyrie Profile 2 characters is in there as cameos! As for Valkyrie Profile 2, I never was able to finish it only because I don't have the game and I be renting it from Family VIdeo.

    Rayman: <____________> THAT'S THE ONE GAME THAT I NEVER WAS ABLE TO BEAT! Get all the way to the musical land and kupat!!! I kept on dying when I was young! Got a little bit older, made it two levels farther and still can't beat it!!!

    Ignore that, it only gets worse.

    I have a game of Final Fantasy X that I gave up on. I was trying to defeat all of the monster arena bosses without using the sphere grid, but after losing to Shinryu repeatedly, I lost interest.

    I also have a really old save of Psychonauts that for some reason I set aside and haven't gone back to. I should dig it up one of these days, because I'd really liked the game.

    That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure there are more. I have a bad habit of starting games, getting bored, and giving up.

    Civilization III because that took way too long. I quit playing KOF 94 because I kept on getting my ass whopped. Quit playing Fable because I was too young. (Finished later). Quit playing Megaman and Bass because the Flame-Man was so gay.

    They scare the balls back up into my body. Those headcrab 'zombies' may be reiterated and recycled over and over through the whole of the game, but damn. Keep them at bay for clean pants, please.

    I just like the storyline. The blitzball part wasn't that fun. As for Final Fantasy X, Shinryu is actually easy. You just need to make sure that you have Tidus, Wakka and Rikku's celestial weapons to their fullest power while their armor have the power to resist against the stone effect. Make sure that Tidus knows Blitz Ace. Real helpful. Well, I did a lot of item scavenging so that's why the monster was easy. Make sure that Their overdrives are at their fullest at the start of the battle and that their overdrives are at stoic. The rest is up to you.

    I have beaten Shinryu often in a normal playthrough. However, when the character with the highest HP is Auron (who is unavailable for this battle) and he has only just over 1000 HP, there's gonna be some trouble surviving Shinryu's physical attack and his Shining (read: it's impossible without Auto-life, unless you get lucky and Shining only hits two characters instead of three, which happens occasionally). And if Rikku is busy mixing Hyper Mighty G so that the party can survive Shinryu's moves, she won't have time to mix Trio of 9999, which is needed for the overdrives you so nicely told me to use to do any damage. Shinryu counterattacks whenever you hit him, which would kill my characters and erase the Trio status, not to mention greatly delay their next turns. Also, at least in the NA version, Eraser cannot be blocked.

    Perhaps you missed that I was playing a NO SPHERE GRID game. In order to win, you basically need to have Shinryu only do his physical attack (which targets one), on every turn. I dunno about you, but I'm not that lucky. I replayed that boss a good few hundred times, I'd guess. It never worked out, or came even close. So, to bring this back on topic, I shut the ps2 off and threw FFX back into the box I dug it out of.

    Now that I'm thinking of it, I think I have a game of FFVII that I got bored with and put away, too. I think I'm too easily distracted, or maybe I've just played these games too many times. ^_^
