    I was wondering what the signature and avatar makers here use to edit their pictures. I use erm... paint xD

    I 100% sure there's something better, that's still free :D

    So I'd like to know, what is the best downloadable program I can use for making them?

    i use photoshop CS2 but that not free

    you can make slight alterations to pics using picasa + paint or lunapic.com

    I use photoshop but if you're looking for a free paint program....... I dunno, try looking for one using google

    Well, photoshop was the obvious choice but just the fact i have to pay or pirate kinda put me off ;)

    Ill try the free ones suggested, and see how it goes. Thanks.

    I used photoshop CS2 and became good enough. But then my laptop went haywire. So now im using 3 coral programs together.

    Coral Paintshop pro X3
    Coral Essential Paint studio 3
    Coral Essential Photo studio 3

    you can do some alright things by using GIMP and its free :)
    personally i dont use it, but i know people who do, it can come in handy

    Um.. I use Photoshop CS3 Extended. And I didn't pay for it.. just got the keygen and got it. And I didn't get through on torrents or anything.. Just found it in youtube how to get photoshop cs3 free.
