    ¿Which Consumes Which?​

    Corpus Christi, Texas

    ¿Doth love burn silken soul?
    ¿Doth mind flame hidden heart?
    Friendship's eternal glow,
    Alloweth home's burning hearth.

    But it's passions's desire,
    Inspires humans to sire;
    Can even be malice,
    Becoming deep seated vice.

    Glints—flints, sparking torch keys,—
    Love's moist breath on ears—kiss,
    Tender soft breasts toucheth,
    Musky mists deep inhaleth.

    So lit fire's effusion,
    Hot yellow sun's fusion,
    Man and woman entwine,—
    Love consumes both in time.

    (Love consumes both,—time.)
