Which Side Do You Prefer?

    So far in the Kingdom Hearts Universe, we have two factions. The Nobodies, the creature with no hearts yet able to function as the body and soul of the person that lost their heart. The Heartless, creatures made by Darkness in one's heart, only acting on instinct i.e. the "scent" of another's heart and devouring it. Which side would you rather be apart of and why?
    You can make a stronger standing on why in the information below:

    Heartless
    A "Shadow", the most common type of Heartless

    Heartless (ハートレス?) are hearts corrupted by darkness, lacking a body or soul. They serve as the most common type of enemy the player must face in the Kingdom Hearts games. Heartless appear as a variety of types, categorized as either Pureblood or Emblem.[16] Both reproduce by taking more hearts and transforming them into Heartless. Pureblood Heartless are black shadow creatures born of pure darkness. Emblem Heartless are artificially created and bear the Heartless insignia, a heart symbol with a thorny cross. Ordinarily, the Heartless function on instinct, but they obey those with strong will.[17] However, in worlds closer to darkness, the Heartless are stronger and become uncontrollable. They invade worlds through corridors of darkness—unpredictable pathways that interlink the many worlds.[18]

    Nobody
    A "Dusk", the lowest-ranking Nobody

    Nobodies (ノーバディ?) are creatures without hearts, existing as the body and soul of characters that lost their hearts to darkness.[13] As they lack hearts to possess light or darkness, they are "nothing", yet still exist within the Kingdom Hearts universe.[19] Unlike Heartless, Nobodies are able to attack with definite planning.[20] Members of Organization XIII kept their human form because they possessed strong hearts, while weaker ones assumed malformed, inhuman forms.[21] Most members of the Organization control one type of Nobody, suited to their fighting style.[22] Similar to the Heartless, Organization XIII and the Nobodies have an insignia, an upside-down, incomplete heart—which was designed to look like a splintered heart as a complement to the Heartless emblem.[23]

    To be quite honest, I'd rather be a Nobody. Depending on how strong my heart is, I have a chance at becoming a human-like Nobody. If I was Lesser Nobody, I think I might be Dragoon or maybe a Samurai, or maybe I have the chance of just being a regular Dusk.

    I'd rather be a Nobody as well. I like the slinky way they move, and anyway, they're just plain cooler. If I had to choose a type (and I couldn't look human), eh, Dancer. They're girly and irritating to defeat (particularly if you're stuck with a big group of 'em). :p

    Well with no additional information about the Unverse (Nomura states a mistranslation, they are no longer Unbirths but Unverse), I think it's quite hard to introduce them for now. We don't know the relationships between them and such. Lets stick with Heartless and Nobodies for now, "dude".

    As for me, I'd be a heartless, they have fingers unlike nobodies (can you imagine life without fingers? =0)
    And some come with their own set of equipment, Soldiers are among my favourites because of this, Luna bandits as well. Also, Heartless possess elemental powers, bonus?

    For me, I choose intelligence over instinct. I want the power to have my own mind & be clever. Thus, the path of the nobody is for me. I'm the kind of person who find time the most greatest power for a nobody, thus, this is the elemental powers that I choose. Nobodies have elements of their own Rawr. I know that my heart is strong, but the reason as to why I care for otehrs so much will make an interferance of my evil ways though.

    Hmm, I'd actually like to see what a an emotionally unstable individual would be if he/she was as a Heartless.

    You know, I feel like I have already answered this question before...

    Anyway, I would much rather be a Nobody than a Heartless. However, I don't think that even if I was a Heartless I would be mindless...

    [and I have no idea how that works or how it connects to what I've been looking into regarding the heart, soul, spirit, and body...]

    But if I had to choose, Nobody because in the hypothetical situation put forth I would have a mind to think, a will to pursue...overall, having these things over a heart shrouded in darkness seems better.

    I've got to go with being a Nobody as well because, as others have pointed out, I think it would be better to have a mind and a sense of purpose, rather than just being something completely driven to take other's hearts. Plus, there's the chance you get to maintain human form and, who knows, maybe one day regain a heart!

    Actually, my heart will be strong, so my heartless form will regain it's human shape, which will means my nobody form will also regain it's human shape. Besides, what makes a strong heart depends on that person & I have a lot of caring for every & love for everyone so I most likely will have my nobody self be in human form. Still, I choose nobody because I don't like relying on instinct & it means brute strength for me, which I don't like.

    I think heartless. Ever since I saw the boss of Traverse Town i've liked heartless designs. Also, it'd be pretty cool to see a heartless version of yourself.

    Why should I be a heartless? -___- I'm more of a strategy person with a nice heart. I'm not buffed up or loves to go on the offense.

    If I had the choice to choose,i would be a heartless.Why?Because I know I would make a weak heartless or nobody either way,and as a nobody while I would be able to think and plan,I would always be controlled by someone else.I know I would be as a heartless too,but its only instinct that you use as a heartless and even though they are "Controlled" as it is,they are never fully chained,they will take you down in your moment of weakness.A nobody,though,atleast the weaker ones,will be forced to follow the orders of the stronger ones,and If I was a nobody,I know i would just be a sacrafice for them.Heartless have greater numbers,thus a greater chance at survival,and it is possible to come back. (People did in the original Kingdom Hearts,though were they ever heartless?)
