Richard W. VanDeventer, a game designer whose worked on various titles such as Mighty No. 9 and Resident Evil 6, has updated his LinkedIn page revealing his works on Kingdom Hearts 2.9 and Kingdom Hearts 3. Although the details of Kingdom Hearts 2.9 is unknown, we can only assume that it is yet another remastery, for the up-and-coming Kingdom Hearts 3. It is also important to note that this hasn’t been the only case of Kingdom Hearts 2.9 sighting. During Square Enix Presents, the title had a brief appearance on their line-up and later silently removed. In the screenshot below, the game is revealed to be for both PS3 and PS4. And quite a bit is revealed for Kingdom Hearts 3 such as multiplayer, return of Gummi Ships, and Pixar elements.
