Besides the fact that Kingdom Hearts news has been coming, Sony and other Japanese news has their shares of greatness lately.
PS Vita and Sony
There has been many rumors stating that the selling and developing of the PS Vita Project will stop. The Sony Vice President of World Wide Studios Scott Rhode has denied this but a Japanese newspaper quoting from an anonymous Japanese gaming insider worker stated that there are many Major Japanese companies who are taking away their support from the Vita and aiming it more towards the Nintendo 3DS. Sadly, the sales in Japan is lower than the PSP and the Nintendo 3DS. Will this affect the system once it reaches North America is unknown.
Now there are reasons as to why the Vita could be seen as a failure. The Vita favors cartridges, meaning that old games to play on it are out of the question unless you live in Japan. it is all because of the UMD Passport Program. Another would be price, costing $250 to $300. If you want to save your games or to download items, you will need to buy an SD card. The Vita has its own memory format and the minimum for an SD card would be $20 for a 4 GB. It will cost $100 for a 32GB SD card. The Vita do has a lot of features but if the developers do not fix the problem, the Vita may die out real soon.
Funny. GameInformer has stated and graded the game system an A-. The reasons are: A longer battery life to offer longer continuous play, longer sleep time, no ghosting, tearing, being a touchscreen, a camera installed in it, incredible graphics, tilt mechanics and an extra control stick. Will you offer to buy Games that ranges from $30-$50 is up to you. The game system will be released on February 22nd.
