The latest issue of Nintendo Dream features Tetsuya Nomura, the main creative drive in both games, stated and suggested a possible sequel. He commented that Raimu/Rhyme Bito did not have any lines in The World Ends With You only reaction voices. In KH3D, Square determined to voice cast her character “out of consideration of the future of The World Ends With You series”. Another hint suggest an even further chance of a sequel in the works. “Regarding The World Ends With You, I can’t say anything at present… (laughs). But there probably is something.” said Nomura.
