Well, technically both Gerik and Kavi know how to fight to some extent, soooooo only half of them need training direly.

Well, the end of Act I is coming up soon, but currently I was thinking of some training montage (like, one post per character on how their training went or something. i dunno!) for them to pass the day, and then engage the Light forces on the day of the launch.

Typical tournament structure, with the losers of the first round moving to an alternate bracket. The winners of the "main" bracket keep moving until there's only one left. The losers have their second chance in an alternate bracket, where if they win they move to the next round in said altbracket. Losing teams from the original bracket are introduced into whatever round they died in, until the biggest winner in the altbracket is left. The two bracket winners face off in a final showdown.

Mhm. It's double elimination, as I suspected. We once did a "field day" baseball tournament at one of my schools with double elimination bracket structures.

True. But the shock value enough would confuse him long enough for the fires to burn.

Mummy's gift is a very low-grade healing technique, I.E. it's not really that good for actual healing beyond sealing the wounds. So, I figured that the speed for it would make up for its lack of power.

I was under the impression that this tournament was being done round-robin style. w/e, Wayward tells me who to fight next, I point Kilet at them and let him loose.

Perhaps. It all depends who he is being forced to fight. By the fact that I am taking on Zakax next round, I can't do Restabilized because the moveset is too weak at close range, as well as the broomstick being flammable. And skeletons would just get charred. Unhinged would be good thanks to the bone armor, but close range puts him at risk for imminent maiming, though his speed is top-notch. And plus, I don't think the hellhound would be at all unnerved by his maniac behavoir. Which leaves Balanced. In all fairness, that's my best bet, what with magical reflecting mirrors, tombstones, wolf legs, and freezethrower.

But yeah. I'm having a lot of fun with Kilet version 3x.
