Nice. And for some I do, if not I'll figure out the information. I'm more of specifically a woodwind expert and of course flute being my major, I know that a little more.

I've watched some episodes. Piccolo actually though-despite it's higher pitch sound similar to a shakuhachi(japanese flute) is an All-American instrument. Made mainly because of John Phillip Sousa. It's basically a fife with keys and levers versus carved out holes. The Western American Flute(aka. the Flute we know and see) is a European and American instrument as well, it's only began growing in Asian culture in the past century or two.

Not really I'm flute and piccolo and the only time we have really no melody part(because even accompany part we'd play contain the same movement of the melody) are rests. And I play piccolo in concert band this year so it's very rare I don't have the melody.

If that's the case, I have no rhythm.

You gotta go look these things up. Australia is the one place in the world where everything is trying to kill you.
