"Hostility?" Sinna asked, raising her arms in a gesture of peace and dismissing the dao. The weapon simply returned to the magic it came from, pooling at her side in a bubble.

"I don't have hostility," She continued, her hands up. "I just have one thing."

The sphere at her side quickly formed into an Ebony Javelin and lanced forward, likely pinning and detonating on Rush from the short distance they had apart. Using more mana, she formed a new dao and held that in her left hand. Her right became surrounded in the material as she dove forward, slashing inwards with the blade (left to right), and following that up with an uppercut. If he tried to dodge under the blade, he would face the full force of a Jet Punch.

    "I only have loathing."

Rush was out of options so he took the full blunt of the Jet Punch, as soon as the impact hit him he was sent flying like a rag doll into a building. As he smashed through the stone wall he spat out blood and softened the impact the impact by planting his feet into the ground which put a huge amount of stress on his legs.

As soon as he could get up he jumped out of the building and aimed his weapon at Sinna, "i know I can't understand human emotions very well... but what is it that you loathe !?" he said switching his weapon to full auto as he shot several Anti Material shells infused with electricity at Sinna trying to knock her off guard.

Like waters faced with the presence of the cutting of a ship, the masses of soldiers and Heartless seemed part before Lao's charge. The former were certain to dodge their commander's movement; the latter either gave pursuit of the evading troops, or we're felled by Lao as he passed through their scattered ranks. Before long, Richelle and her opponent were both in Lao's sight. Immediately he ceased his attacks against the small shadows at his horse's feet, and readied his spear to strike against the greater opponent before him.*

The gap closed a few seconds following the poising of his weapon. He pulled Trill to a halt to the side of the two, though placing himself in a position between his ally and her attacker. After a brief kickback from Trill as he came to a full stop, Lao made an upward swipe of his blade, knocking the dark warrior's weapon up and away from Richelle. The beam of darkness launched itself a second latter, streaking harmlessly into the sky. Then, working with the movement of his weapon, he thrusted the blunt butt end of the staff in a viscous strike into the warrior's stomach.*

"Bother not the cub, lest you seek the wrath of the mother!"

" General Lao..." Richelle saw that he came on time to protect her. As she looked around, her group was successful in leading the citizens to safety. "I am glad to see you here. I believe in us, in our strength." Richelle looked at Lao and closed her eyes. "Our guard of courage will be stronger than steel itself." She stood there, watching as Lao was fighting against the man in her place.

  5. Axeus grunted in disapproval as only seconds before his attack would have connected, his Keyblade was violently smacked to the side, sending his beam of darkness shooting into the sky. He landed a short distance from the mounted captain.

"Bother not the cub, lest you seek the wrath of the mother!"

Immediately as his feet touched the ground, he took control of the nearby heartless and made them form a barrier between him and the knight. This gave him a second to think. Just then, he heard the crash of something pummeling into a building. He turned to see the wall of a stone building collapsed, with a Black-Haired girl nearby. Darkness seethed from her and she easily manipulated it to attack. Axeus was happy to see a potential ally, though she was too far away to help him at the moment. As the Grey-Haired Boy leapt out of the pile of stone rubble and shot at the woman, Axeus turned back to the situation at hand.

He had been ready to take both of his enemies on, but it seems like the Blue-Haired Woman was abstaining from combat. Why would she show me mercy...?! He thought as he gritted his teeth, a look of anger painted on his face. Fine... then my plan will change. The commander will die first, and the sight of his heart being crushed will utterly demoralize the woman. Speaking of demoralizing... Axeus mentally hatched a devilish plan.

Axeus commanded the heartless under his control to rush forward, using their attack as cover by hiding behind the larger shadows. Then, as soon as he was close enough, he stabbed at the underside of Lao's horse. If the attack landed, he would twist his Keyblade as if opening a lock, and the horses heart would be his.

Rush's leveling of his weapon could only mean one thing in Sinna's eyes: That ever so familiar winking hole, that perfect straight line and the deep breath before the trigger. It was a gun. Before the witch could even start running, he fired and she rushed to defend herself, raising her dao. At the same time, she let off a Black Burst. The wave of raw force deflected most of the round, and the final one smashed straight into her Dao, breaking it and slamming into her shoulder.

Sinna retched in pain, a repulsive look of vindictive rage forming on her face.

"You want to know what I loathe?" She spat while feeling about her bleeding shoulder to find the bullet, "Conglomeration. Organization. Gradual build up. All organization becomes corrupt, no matter the original cause, no matter the banner. I am simply the solution. I am Eigengrau!"

All the while, mana seeped through her every pore in greater rapidity than before, pooling at her feet in an almost liquid ring. On her announcement, her fingers managed to find the bullet and pull it out. The metal was covered in crimson and shone beautifully in the light. Her hand could not say the same. The mana suddenly surged upwards into an Onyx Barrier, shielding her fairly well for the distance Rush had away, and Sinna set to tearing off her patchwork sleeve and turning it into a makeshift bandage to hold the wound and stop the bleeding.

OOC: Kurai, I just want to make sure, you do realize that Sinna does not use darkness or any such thing to fight: Just black mana? Axeus can totally mistake that for using darkness, I just wanted to make sure you knew.

Rush sighed, "Fine then... I guess I have to go all out..." and with that h began to run at her with astounding speed as he leveled his gun and took a few more shots at Sinna there was a look in his eyes. While he was still a nobody he still held a fragment of his heart, and while he couldn't comprehend it he knew what he was feeling, it was a deep pity upon Sinna.

Rush then closed his eyes as he finished off his barrage of bullets with a strong thunder attack which tore through the sky, raining upon Sinna and creating a large crater in the ground.

Ridding himself of the heartless was an easy feet for the young commander, having already dealt with their likes enough in the battle. This time around though, he chose a more defensive avenue, so he wouldn't fall into a mundane pattern of spell casting. With a bellowing call, he cast an Aero spell. The air around him and Trill, for but a second or two, grew to a violent cyclone gust, kicking the shadows back, and weakening the. Substantially enough that Richelle or any of he soldiers would be able to make quick work of them.*

But what came next was both more difficult to foresee, and more taxing to defend against. No sooner than he had disposed of the shadows, Trill began to buck and writhe about. Though he still stood in the process, it was clear that the steed was in great pain. So too was the rider, as a panicking worry flared across his face for the first time in the conflict. Fortunately, he could tell what was happening; the black energies arising from the underside of his mount told him that the darkness was at work, and his horse was its target. Instantly, his composure returned, and his worry was replaced with a controlled rage.

"Like HELL!" he shouted. His spear dropped to the ground with a series of clangs. From the sheaths upon his back, he removed his short swords. He drew up one of these blades, pointing the blade down. "Forgive me, friend," he said to the horse, evidence of a teardrop upon his face. With a cry and a push, he lodged the blade into Trill's neck. He wasn't sure which hurt either of them more: the darkness or the betrayal. Regardless, even through Trill's pleading cries against the pains, Lao maintained his course. It was for the better. "Goodbye, brave, swift Trill," he said at last. From the blade of his sword, a lightning spell trailed down, coursing through the innards of the horse's body.*

He dismounted, leaping from the falling body landing roughly six feet away. He turned in time to see the horse make its final breathes. The process of death was quicker, and more exact than consuming a being into the darkness. The steed lay dead, and the one responsible for the death in the run stood thwarted by extreme measures. "To see of dead is more soothing than to see it living as a monster," he said, glaring at the man before him. The darkness of a dead one is useless to you." He drew his blades before him, one slightly further out than the other, though both crossed in a noticeable "X"'shape. "No more games. I bet you're really nothing without this army of yours."

Richelle stood there, watching both soldiers fighting against each other in order to overcome the other. While they were fighting, she starts to prepare a spell. "Guard Reinforce..." She starts to cast it on her commander, Lao so that she can increase his defense. She then sat there and was preparing to cast the next spell trying to have enough time to give her side enough time to defend against the attack. While she is trying to prepare the next spell, she saw that the castle was under attack. "We must hurry."

  10. "Like HELL!"

Thinking that his success was assured, Axeus looked up, teeth bared in a wide smile. He was surprised when several drops of warm blood hit his cheek, as his type of attack shouldn't have made a flesh wound; Axeus saw the knight with his blade impaled into the steed's neck. He was astounded. An electric shock coursed through the horse, reducing it to a smoking carcass. The enemy hopped off his horse and back a bit, drawing his weapons in front of him. A glow of magic lit him up, and Axeus saw that the Blue-Haired Woman was the source. Axeus pointed his Keyblade at the woman as if to say she was next. Then the knight addressed him:

"No more games. I bet you're really nothing without this army of yours."

Axeus simply stood there for a moment, mouth slightly ajar. Then he reared back and laughed uproariously. Axeus clapped slowly and sardonically. "Good show! Never thought you'd kill your own pet! I thought your hearts would be simply inseparable, " he said, practically spitting the words. "And these shadows... you think this is my army?" His facial expression gradually changed from amused to a hateful stare. "No, they obey me because I'm strong. I am only here to steal hearts. Now show me, you pathetic mutt, whether your deserve to keep yours."

Axeus began crafting his strategy. It would be difficult to break through his guard with pure offense, especially if the Blue-Haired Woman was bolstering his defense with magic. He didn't have many options. Axeus looked to the side, catching a glimpse of the Grey-Haired Boy and the Black-Haired Woman. The former had just shot the latter in the shoulder, to which the Black-Haired Woman responded by digging into herself and ripping the bullet back out. An interesting battle, but Axeus could think of no way to use it to his advantage. He turned back to the knight.

Axeus pointed his Keyblade to the sky, then shot three bullets of darkness that would make a large arc and attack the knight from above. As he did so, he felt a twinge of pain; he was casting too often. He would have to hold off on using the powers of darkness for now. Not letting the pain hinder him, he leapt forward as quickly as possible, closing the distance between himself and the knight. Reaching his enemy just in time, the dark bullets rained down upon the knight. Axeus quickly made a series of swipes at his midsection, trying to break through the knight's guard.

What Rush did not take into account, unluckily for both parties, was the effects of Sinna's Onyx Barrier. By the time the first bullet had reached the wall, the Nobody was already mid-cast for the thunder spell. The first shot impacted just as Sinna's bandage was complete, stopping the outflow of blood. The wall detonated, sending out a powerful concussive force that shook the area. The witch shot back, the power throwing her like a ragdoll across the area and into a nearby wall. The other bullets fired were likewise affected, their paths thrown off by the concussive wave. As for Rush, he was too far forward not to get hit by the barrier's effect. His thunder spell missed for his target was thrown very far back from where she was.

From her position against the bricks and metal, Sinna coughed up a little blood, snarling. Only a little bit of mana was readily available for use, so she put all of it into another Ebony Javelin, anticipated where the Nobody would land, and fired. With any luck, that would incapacitate him. In the meantime, Sinna would recharge.

"I will slaughter all who stand in my way. . ." She growled, taking cover behind the remains of another brick wall.

Rush was once again thrown into a wall by taking the blunt of an attack, "Damnit... twice..." said Rush in a rather morose tone of voice as he climbed out of a building for the second time.

"Where did she go !?" he thought to himself, clutching his bleeding arm tightly, "I'm a sitting duck if I can't find her...".

He quickly ripped of a piece of the bottom of his coat and created a makeshift bandage for his arm before loading some armor piercing shells into his gun. "Come out... before you get blasted... that's the best advice I can give you." he said shooting each wall, the impact of the AP shells smashing the walls down rather easily.

Lao stood his ground against his foe’s assault. Yes, he could have easily evaded both the bullets and blocked the strikes. But the space allotted for such maneuver would have made it more awkward than it needed to be. Instead he pushed his blades up slightly, in gesture of casting his defense. In a mirroring arc, a wave of hard, purple light collided with the five shots. Like his previous reflect spell, this shielding wave shattered and scattered as the last of the bullets hit it, and dissipated almost instantaneously as the light and dark forced one another unto naught.

But Lao hadn’t stopped to observe this effect, or even to assure that his defenses were in fact successful. His focus had fallen upon his opponent. He flipped his blades in a one-eighty, bringing the blades pointing towards the ground, and their broad sides resting comfortably against his forearms. Reassuring his ground he met the warrior’s weapon with block, using the broadside of one blade. As the series of swipes commenced, he proceeded with an semi-alternating blocking pattern; as one blade blocked, he recoiled it, and used the other to block the next strike, doubling only as necessary.

Then came a final strike, a hard swipe from his left side. This time, however, he refrained from recoil. He met the opposing blade in a deadlock with his left blade, while returning the right blade to its upward orientation. As though moving up from his right hand, the blade adopted a slight red hue as a fire spell was channeled into it, heating it a temperature akin to a cattle branding iron. With the deadlock there in effort to hold the foe down long enough, Lao, slashed his right blade down towards said foe’s shoulder joint.

Richelle finally had enough time to prepare her next spell and used Guard Reinforce on the next warrior, Rush in order to help him increase his defense. "Are you alright?" Richelle ran up towards the strange man to make sure that he is ok as she let herself be well prepared to cast her next spell. She looked around as she saw Rush still shooting in order to knock down the walls to find his opponent. As she lookedback, she saw her leader struggling. "General!" However, she is unable to do anything except to support from the rear. "I think I know what I need to do next."

Richelle threw her shield up into the air and had it spinning. As it continues to spin, she starts to shoot daggers at it, making the shield to deflecting it in random directions, some to figure out where the strange-evil woman was at and some at the evil man. The shield went back down to Richelle as the daggers with the magical property to seal magic began to find its target.

  15. Axeus saw the burning hot attack plunging toward him. He did the one thing he could think of; he dropped his Keyblade, which dissipated instantly, crouched, and propelled himself backwards into a corkscrew. The maneuver sent Axeus flying at speeds that he could not control and he ended up tumbling violently. When Axeus finally caught himself, he was happy that he was wearing armor or else he would be covered in cuts and many more bruises. As Axeus stood up, he saw a trail of seething, magical daggers planted in the ground in front of him. Had he not attempted such a reckless move, they would've hit him dead on.

Axeus was visibly fatigued; he was panting and slightly hunched. However, he knew that it was either the knight or him. The Keyblade reappeared in Axeus' hand as he charged his enemy. When he was fairly close, Axeus threw his Keyblade at the knight's face, then immediately dashed forward and threw a hard fist to his gut, followed by a spinning kick to the chest. Axeus knew that he was on his last legs, but even if he passed out while attacking he was still going to give it his all.

OOC: sorry this isn't longer, I typed up the original version then accidentally caused it to be lost. It's embarrassing how, I basically pressed backspace (equivalent to pressing the back button) then refreshed in a panic, losing the post forever.

Luckily for Sinna, nothing with homing properties was mentioned in her opponents' posts. She gathered energy for another Stygian Pearl and bundled it in her sling, plotting her next move. A conveniently sized rock was nearby, and the enemy was still unaware as to her postion. Yet. There were two looking for her now, and while it was doubly dangerous, it was also a prime opportunity. The plan was set.

The natural spellcaster grabbed the rock and threw it one way, hitting a pile of wood boards and stone rubble a little ways off her position and causing an audible crash. In the other direction, she used the sling to propel the Pearl at a high speed, banking it off an opposite wall the same time the rubble fell. The orb bounced off and flew straight for the duo's position. The woman buried herself in the dirt, praying the gunner wouldn't aim low to the ground.

Rush saw the orb coming at him and ducked losing his balance but effectively dodging the spellcaster's attack and releasing a thunder from where he saw the orb coming from, hoping to get a clean hit and daze his foe. "I underestimated her... for now I have to prepare for the worst..." Rush thought to himself as he took several blind shots towards Sinna's position before running up a wall and landing on the roof of the house, using it as a temporary lookout.

"Where did she go !?" he said to himself before spotting her in the corner of his eye, "There you are !" he said taking aim at Sinna's head.

Even as he readied himself for the next bout of the battle, Lao was ill-prepared for Axeus' coming move. His anticipation had been for a charge in, and another flurry of strikes from his opponent's blade. So when said blade came flying towards him with a hand no longer guiding it, he was left with little time to pull a full defense together.*

He was able to successfully step to the side of the flying blade. Placing the knuckles of his fists together, he swept across with his blades, knocking the thrown weapon away from him as well. But this left him exposed, and the punch intended for his stomach drove into the side of his torso. The padding there being a little weaker than that on his frontside made it all the worse; in fact he'd have welcomed the strike in his front. The pain was harsh, but bearable to the extent that he'd live and fight through it.*

He might have been able to block the proceeding kick, had it not been for his desire to keep his swords at hand. Instead, he attempted to duck beneath it, resulting in the kick laying through against his face on the side of his forehead. As he doubled back a short way from this, the effect was immediately apparent: a blackish-blue bruise and slight swelling around the eye near which the kick had landed.*

Taking back his form and posture, he sheathed his blades, clenched his fists a his sides, and, stared down his opponent. "A fine warrior," he said in praise. "A shame you have to side with the devil." He threw a fist forward, throwing a small, hard pocket of circulating air to the warrior's chest. This was only about as hard hitting as the punch would have been though, a shot at distracting his foe while he closed in. In range, he would strike with his elbow into Axeus' face, and then, all according to plan, take hold of him by the arm, and fling him over his shoulders.

Richelle didn't know what to do but seeing that her captain is injured, she decided not to sit in the backline anymore. "This time, I will support to the fullest." Richelle put the shield in front of her and smacked the orb away into the air so that it will explode. As she saw that the nobody is about to shoot at the evil lady, Richelle ran towards where the nobody was about to shoot and did two cartwheels. By the time she jumped into the air, she saw where the evil lady was at and was ready to attack. "Now it is time to take away from your body the breathe of life!" she was now on the other side and was ready to help the nobody to fight the woman from two sides.

"Now is time to silence your spellcasting!" She took three daggers in her hand and threw them at Sinna as she jumped backwards, hoping to get a reaction from Sinna.

  20. Axeus felt a surge of adrenaline as his punch connected with a lightly-armored area; the feeling grew even more intense as his kick landed, causing the enemy to bruise and swell. Axeus' Keyblade reappeared in his hand. He smiled wickedly as his enemy spoke.

"A fine warrior, a shame you have to side with the devil."

"Heh, you're not bad either," Axeus commented sincerely. "But I don't know who this 'Devil' guy is and definitely don't side with him. I am my own Master." Axeus barely finished his sentence before the harsh gust of wind ripped toward him. In response, Axeus slashed downward with his Keyblade, clashing with the burst of condensed air. The Keyblade and the spell were both held in place for a moment as they each vied for power over the other. Axeus clenched his teeth and swiped the spell to the side, causing it to rip into the ground and create a fissure followed by a crater in the pavement.

When he looked back to the knight, Axeus found that he was already being attacked; a hard elbow smacked right into the underside of Axeus' cheekbone, causing him to recoil in pain. The knight then tried to maneuver and grab hold of Axeus' arm. Seeing the attack, Axeus used the recoil from the previous strike to throw himself into a back-handspring. Not wasting any time, he immediately righted himself and dashed back toward his enemy. Axeus thrusted his Keyblade at the opponent's back and then quickly followed the attack with a spinning backslash. Axeus had a bit of vigor left from the adrenaline rush, allowing him to stay standing for a little while longer.
