A new hope

The voice laughed.
"My what a hot tempered freind you have there."
"Can you be quiet and just revive me and the boy?"
"Yes. It is done."

 

Dinahi ran over to Shino and hugged him.
She looked over to his brother and asked "Is he going to be okay?"

 

Daimo opened his eyes.
His head hurt. His chest hurt. His foot felt like it was on fire. Heck, everything about him hurt. He tried to stand groggily, but fell back onto land.
"Ouch.." was all he mumbled.

 

Shino opened his eyes at exactly the same time.
Dinahi noticed he was alive and cried out "SHINO!"
She kissed him on the cheek.
"Oh..uh..sorry" Dinahi said.
"Don't worry I like it"
Dinahi blushed a deep cherry red colour. She kissed him on the cheek again and looked up to see Daimo was awake too.
"YOU!"
She thrusted herself towards Daimo and faced him with her icicle whip in hand.

 

Daimo weakly raised his hands in front of his face. "No more, please...." Thats when he noticed it; his right hand was maimed horribly.

 

"We can't trust you!"
Suddenly Shino stopped infront of them.
"We want peace, not more violence!"
"You're right....this war has killed my family and friends, it's horrible and he's one of the reasons why he did this!"

 

Daimo stood up. His right hand was disconcerting, so he just put it in hi trench coat pocket. He leaned on his katana like a crutch. "Ziaxe once liked me. I was his informer, until an ambitous rat caught me passing information to resistance members. I hate him as much as you do."

 

"So, you're on our side?" Shino asked, with a confused look on his face.

 

"What else do you think?" Daimo glared at them. "That one boy attacked me, and retreated. I don't take kindly to retreating. So I tracked you. And everyone else got mixed up in the battle."

 

"Sorry for that" Shino apologized.
"I'm Shino"
He put his hand infront of him.

 

Daimo reached out with his non crippled hand. "Daimo."

 

"Hey"
They shook hands but Shino shook it gently, just because of the condition he was in.
"Can I help you in anyway Daimo, I'm really sorry about what happened to you"

 

Daimo looked quickly at his right hand. "Well, I could use some sling of sime kind..."

 

"What's a sling?" Shino asked.

 

"Something that goes around my shoulder so I can put my hand in it." He held up his hand to Nagi. "Umm.... its useless."

 

Suddenly pain surged across Shino's body and he screamed in pain as he fell to the ground.
"What's going on!?" Sinahi shouted, as he caught him.

 

Daimo looked at his katana. Something had rubbed off. "I knew it." He said, rubbing the rest of it off. A skeleton head was embalzoned on the hilt where it had been covered by cloth. "I just knew he would put something like that. A zombie weapon. It made me hysterical in battle with the objective to win, and it cursed your freind there when I opened up his back. It will send ripping pain through his body at first, and then it gets worse."
