A new hope

"What do you mean worse?" Dinahi asked, looking deeply worried

 

Daimo looked at Shino. "Well... it starts with pain, then it goes to impediment of breathing, then to paralysis, then to necrosis, then to death."

 

"NO!, he can't die, what can we do?"

 

"Umm.... from what I read on the subject, the only true cure is whether your freind has a strong enough mind, but some things can slow it down. It normally takes about 3 years to kill, but slowed down, it would take about 20."

 

Shino had tears running down his face.
"Daimo...I thought.... airbenders were...ow!... peaceful, why do you have such a...horrible weapon?..I don't know why...I showed you respect just now...you're a monster!"
Shino was in serious pain and he screamed "STOP THIS PLEASE!!!"

 

"I didn't know I had this weapon. Ziaxe tricked me. He gave me it, saying it was his own personal sword. He must have covered it up with that cloth. Otherwise, I would have destroyed it." Daimo walked away, using it as a crutch. "Oh, almost forgot," he called over he shoulder, "One cure for this; destroying the necromacer, or guy who cursed the weapon, who my guess is Zaixe. See you around." He limped away.

 

Suddenly a ghostly figure with a bold head, bright green eyes and a dark black cloak that almost covered his face appeared appeared above Shino. He waved his hand and dust that illuminated light appeared onto Shino's head. Flames spewed from it and a scar that was shaped like a sword appeared on his face and blood gushed from it.
Shino cried in pain as this was happening but neither Dinahi and Nagi stop him because they couldn't move because a paralyzing spell was cast on them.
The ghost stroked his cheek and the blood stopped gushing and the blood was wiped off his face.
Shino breathed in deeply as the ghost let go of him.
"There, he is saved but you must defeat Ziaxe before the mighty fires of destruction spread across the worlds...in other words you must defeat the king by 7 weeks or you, Shino will be killed...the king must be slain by your sword to regain your life back...healing you for these amount of weeks is all I can do, good luck Shino"
The ghost faded into bright light and disappeared.

 

Daimo walked on. He had heard the commotion, but did not turn around. Instead, he yelled over his shoulder, "Your sub sunk. How are you going to get to Ziaxe?" He then walked on. There was a village further on which he knew of. Hopefully the hot tempred one would regain his strength and charge him, and by that time he would have a boat ready for them.

 

"Ziaxes weaknesses? More like weakness. It is this; he murdered his family to rise to power. He has nightmares at night of them and their faces when he killed them. It is slowly driving him insane. When I met him last, he was twitching and not moving as fast from lack of sleep." Daimo gestured ahead. "Theres a village up there. I am known there, so I can arrange for a boat."

 

Shino nodded and they started walking towards the village.

 

Daimo walked into the village outskirts. He was created with calls of "The Man!" He smiled thinnly as he walked into the village center. There, he explained to the mayor there situation. "Well, my good man, I believe I can hook you up with the Dragons Breath. 5th ship on the right pier. As for food, we will stock your vessel with any food you require." Daimo nodded, and walked out.
