Ancient Egypt - Asequel to Highschool Hell (Continued, rated M for mature.)

Hope hugged the child close, "It's ok Jasmine. They'll be home soon." she promised Jasmine. (Man it's weird to say that because one of my characters name is Jasmine) She looked at Jamie again "Yes you do know why, Jamie!" she said, softly so she wouldn't scare the little girl in her arms. "You... you have to. Things like that don't just Happen." a tear appeared in her eye. She partly had an idea why Jamie would do that. Hope had been distant, she hadn't talked to anyone since her sister's dissapearence, not even Jamie.

 

Hope hugged Jasmine close, letting the little girl cry on her sholder. She glared at Ariana darkly "I... thought you were my friend." she said in a cracked, betrayed voice. Hope remembered saving Ariana, Ariana and Hope and always been best friends through all times. How could she just betray her friendship now? She shook her head and looked at Jamie, opened her mouth to say something but couldn't think of anything to say. She didn't even cry, as Jasmine's little head rested on her sholder, Hope shook her head at Jamie, ran her hand through Jasmine's hair and turned around. She could feel her heart breaking, falling to pieces just like Jasmine's abandoned little heart. She ran away, with innocent little Jasmine in her arms. She ran outside into the garden, put Jasmine down, fell to her knees and finally broke. Tears of fury and betrayal fell down her face. She had lost her best friend, her sister and her boyfriend all in the same month.

 

Hope sighed, she didn't even notice the cold. "I know how spells work Cidd." she said in a shuttering breath. "They wouldn't have fallen for it if... if..." she didn't finish her sentence. She didn't want to think about it. She had stopped crying. She hated crying while others were around, "I was stupid to think that she was my friend."

 

Hope sighed, she didn't hear Cidd silently slip away. "Jamie... I trusted you." tears formed in her eyes again "I... I'm sorry. I just don't know what to think." she looked at the ground, the white blinding white snow reflected the sun, glittering all around and blinding her eyes as she looked down at her feet which were burried in the cold, beautiful, white. A tear fell from her eye and melted a small whole through the snow, no bigger than the head of a pin.

Angel slowly moaned as she gained conciousness. She was so cold, she couldn't remember anything. She sat up slowly, and looked around. "Wha... where am I?" she thought to herself. She looked down at the egyption clothing she was still wearing and a few memories came back. 'Oh no!' she remembered being trapped, they thought she was a goddess who could help them overthrow the pharoh. THey were going to kill Tom! Angel stood up quickly. All she could see around was a thick wintery forest. No civilazation any where.

 

Hope didn't look at Jamie, she was about to answer his question but then she heard Cidd. She looked at him and then saw him run inside, carrying a limp body. "Oh... please god no...." she couldn't bear to think that Tom was dead. Where was Angel? Was she dead or lost too? Numb with cold and worry, she followed Cidd inside. "He isn't dead is he?"

Angel took a step and felt a sharp pain in her side. She looked down and drew in a sharp gasp of suprise and pain. She had been injured somehow and she didn't remember it. The snow at her feet was died crimson scarlet though the wound itself didn't look too bad.
