Ai. If there is no doubt then it is a waste of time. But how often are murders done in plain view? The chances of the guy your pointing the finger at is innocent are astronomical.
Ever heard the saying "Show respect for the dead?" Do that or you will end up having a personal experience of your own to add to the Paranormals debate.

Zenrot. He shouldn't get off scott free. As Yukou said (but much more profanely), death really is nothing more than an escape from life. You kill him, he escapes.

You let him rot in jail for his life, he hates it. Pick one.

I'm gonna ignore Zerieth's entire ridiculous comment about angry ghosts, and adress the most sensible comment made. SkylerOcon, I can plainly see your argument. However, I don't want him to sit in a prison for the rest of his life. Eventually you get used to it and it's not a big deal anymore. I want him to feel the same pain that he put everyone he hurt through when that jolt of electricity rips him to pieces.

So in other words you want revenge? Also don't ignore the whole post. Some of that was on subject. In fact, I agreed with you on one point. And I only said a second chance. Not third or fourth chances. You shouldn't begrudge some one that. Who knows? Maybe they can change is they did commit the crime.

That really hypocritical in my view. You say that no one deserves to die, but then your argument changes to give them a second chance then fry them.

No, I'm not interested in revenge. If I wanted revenge I'd kill that person myself. I simply want closure for those people who can rest knowing the person who commited such horrible offenses to them won't ever do it to anyone again.

Maybe they can change, but they don't deserve it.

I get your point of view, Zenrot.

It is to contradict yourself in this thread, and I think that is what Zereith is doing. I find myself doing that once in a while, but lets get back to the thread.

I do believe that everyone deserve a second chance at life...then fry then if they mess up! XD

No, not really, but what if you were in their shoes? I know there is a fine line from guilty and innocence. But what if they person admit that they are really guilty, what if they admit that they are wrong? What do you do then? Kill them? I understand if they are guilty and know that they are guilty but say that they are innocence, now that deserve DEATH!!! HAHA!

Well, I do believe in cruel and unusual punishment. But don't you find it funny? That people know for doing a certain crime, that they are going to get the death penalty and do it any way?

To build on that, and I am sorry for changing my opinion bah, you still can never guarantee innocence. Sometimes the innocent admit they are guilty because they believe that even if they can't get out trouble they can at least make the sentence lighter. In the end they almost always die while the bad guy is still rooming out there.

    You can rarely gurantee anything.

Sometimes the innocent DO get charged, sometimes they face the punishment for a crime they didn't commit, and sometimes the bad guy is still roAming out there. Sometimes the truly guilty person gets punished. (we've been over this before also btw). Nothing is perfect including the justice system, but this doesn't influence decision on the penalty.

Um, ya it does. It does influence the decision. With a bad justice system we are more liable to make mistakes. I can't believe you didn't think about that. And you agreed with me. Don't you think it is worth locking someone up instead of killing him to save an innocents life?

Absolutely not. That would be saying "we more than likely made a mistake so in every trial from now on we need to cover for mistakes we may not have made". In my personal view if you are innocent but you get convicted then tough luck, wrong place, wrong time, wrong evidence. Mistakes happen, sorry. And by decision I meant how I feel.

However, Zenrot. You're forgetting one thing.

What if you were the unlucky one who got stuck in the wrong place at the wrong time that just happened to have the wrong evidence? Would you want to be killed for something you didn't commit?

Also, it's not saying that the judiciary system doesn't have faith in itself. Making capital punishment illegal would make sure than somebody innocent didn't die in the rare event that a court was wrong.

And we don't have a bad court system -- we have a corrupt one. Would you prefer guilty until proven innocent, or innocent until proven guilty?

^^Both of which exist in different parts of the world.

Money rules in this world, and you should know that. If you have money, you can get yourself out of a lot of messes. Like crimes, but money is like a double-edge sword, the more you got the harder you fall, the more you got, the more luxuries you earn.

Their mentality is screw the pubic, they worry about themselves.

Hahaha don't do that, because I wouldnt say anything if I wouldn't deal with a situation myself. Of course I wouldn't want to be killed, but anyone who does should off themselves right now anyway. Even the guilty ones don't want to be killed. And if they system is corrupt, then go fix it, good luck.

Life isn't easy and neither is fixing a court system.

And you never answered my question. Would you want to be unjustly killed?

did you ever READ my post? I answered the question, and then some. Maybe next time you should read the posts before you randomly say things, because thats really annoying.

Lolz. Good one SkylerOcon. In the end we can't really be capable of a JUST justice system. Nowadays justice is rarely served and we need to make up for it. Either that or fire our judges and start from scratch.

Oh yeah, he got me SO GOOD, he crushed me ouch man ouch, except I countered him just fine and he was actually to foolish to notice, but whatever he SO got me.

as per "justice is rarely served and we need to make up for it": that is horribly pathetic. Take a room of 50 judges and you may find 2-3 that has become corrupt. Its not a system that is corrupt, its people. a SYSTEM is just an outline for a basic plan, its people who decide to be corrupt or not, and the vast majority do not. To assume the entire system is corrupt is basically judging all by the actions of few, which is fairly naive. Go ahead and prove to me the system is corrupt, which you 100% cannot.

haha i'm chill, its just annoying because every since this thread was basically monopolized by myself and zerieth, you have been the only one to join in that has posted a good opinion. The 3 of us actually have fairly good arguments, but then there is that 1 person who jumps in, says something retarded and thinks he is cool, and then jumps out so he doesn't have to contribute anymore hahaha. Watch, the only reason Skyler Ocon will post again is because he will read this and think he is showing me up by adding another post.
