Chronicles of Narnia: The New Leaders

Zarath struck the werewolf, and grabbed Sussy.
"Sussy, i need to tell you something...in private."-Zarath
Zarath ran away with Sussy in his arms.

 

Zarath put a calm hand on Sussy. A light went out from his hand, and flowed into hers. She started to feel painless.....and then opened her eyes to see she was back to her normal human self. She looked at Zarath.
"Its only temporary..."-Zarath

 

Will sunk to the bottom of the river, mind fogging. His sword was stuck in the bank next to him. Had he failed Sussy, was she dead? He knew she was captured and he awaited Art's blade to go through his heart, killing him once and for all.

 

"Im...not human....."-Zarath

 

"Im...Im.....its complicated....
Im not sure of it all, maybe I really am a normal human after all....But it all happened when I was at the lampost.
There was a man....He looked like Drek, but it wasnt, they just had similiar styles of clothes.....
He was older than Drek....and he said he was Drek's Father....
He held a staff in his left hand....and he pointed it at me....
He said something...something i couldn't understand. I...was surrounded by light.
Then I was like in teh room with myself, but I had no control over myself. I think he took control over me. Then I watched him confront Drek...and then I returned to normal. Then I entered a white room, and he gave me a book. I read it. It was filled with prophesies....and I was to be some new god. He told me I was apart of him, and that he would give me his power. He told me.....I was from this world. Narnia......
So...I think...I'm something else.......
He said he would talk to me again, and said that he'd sent me to Earth to protect me. So......I think we're not related.........we're not family. I feel different....I feel like.......im not a human anymore......"-Zarath

 

Zarath was hit, but it had no affect.
"Im a god fool! You cannot touch me!!"-said Zarath seeming possesed again.
He got up amd saw them cower.
"...fine, if he wants to speek with me then I will speek with him. But dont you dare TOUCH the girl. I will carry her......"-said Zarath, grabbing Sussy and following the minion group.

 

Drek looked deep into Sussies eyes.
"Sussy......I didnt want to have to show you this....but your connection with the boy is true strong to deny you answers......"-Drek
"Drek, NO!!!"-Zarath
Drek snapped his fingers. The hoods of the people around him were removed. They stood up.
It was Jadis, Mr.Tumnus, Digory Kirke, and Peter.

 

"What do you mean child?"-Jadis
"Calm yourself Jadis."-Digory
"Young Princess.....we are the guardians of Narnia. We were founded by Drek, one of the five Kaos, to put a stop to Aslan and the Great Lord of their wicked plan to destroy the Great Forest....."-Tumnus
"You see....if the Great Tree is destroyed, then all of the worlds will die. Without a sorce of life, then all the worlds will crumble. They will die..."-Jadis
"But when the Tree is threatened....the Tree chooses a son of old to be reborn as teh Tree himslef, and defend the Tree from outer attack....."-Digory
"....and we are in search of the boy..."-Peter
"You see, The Great Lord was once that boy to defend the Tree, but now after many years.....he has grown tired and weary, and wishes to see all the worlds die along with him. He wants to see the world burn...."-Digory
"....but The Great Lord has ties to our hearts...."-Peter
"He gave us our power."-Tumnus
"We were to destroy him if he ever grew weary or was to ever see the worlds in teh way he sees them now....."-Jadis
"Listen....he is my Father. He has done things that I cannot forgive him for. He has disowned all the worlds.....and wants to see everyone fall with his own soul. He wants everyone to fall from Paradise. I must stop him and his ordeal. He has somehow taken control of Aslan.....how so I do not know. But Aslan is the one stealing life out of his own world to gain power.....not me. My Father even pretended to be me to make you all hate me. Neither of them can be trusted......"-Drek
There was a long pause...
"So you want to...save the Forest? With the ponds? And this Tree?"-Zarath
"...Yes."-Drek
"Then I will join you."-Zarath
"...thank you Zarath...."-Peter

 

Will's air started to run out and his mind fogged. He was starting to lose conciousness. His memories flashed through his head. His mother, Sussy, Zarath, Art, School, his guitar, his girlfriend. Everything flashed in his mind and he started to give up, feeling it was his fault Sussy had been attacked.

 

"No! We...need you Sussy."-Drek
"You....you said your aunt Lucy? Well.....im.....i mean.......do you want to see her?"-Peter
"NO Peter, that is not allowed...."-Tumnus
"But if it will help our cause...."-Peter
"Well, little girl, Peter here is Lucy's Brother!! Doesnt that count for something? He is the High King!!"-Jadis
"Jadis....thats enough."-Peter
"Listen, Sussy.....I know you've been told things, but haven't you thought for an instant that it might not be true? We all remember the good old days......and yes Aslan was once good.....but even his closest friends have turned on him. Why? Why would all of his friends turn on him at the same time? Because of REASONS!!! We are justified. We are GOOD! Please....if you have any sense of justice about you you will understand!?"-Drek
"Drek, dont put so much pressure on the child."-Digory
Zarath turned to Sussy.
"Sussy.....I dont know everything either....nor do I pretend to know. But something is unsettling about the situation, and even if they are wrong....wouldnt it be better to keep close tabs on them? To see for ourselves that they are either right or wrong?"-Zarath

 

"...Sussy...I am sorry...."-said Drek, dissappearing into the darkness.
The other 4 followed.
Zarath wanted to follow...but he couldnt.
"...Sussy? I.......this guy they call the Great Lord.....I met him. I think he as that guy at the lampost. I.......I felt like he was the devil........
I only fet that around Drek....sometimes. Other times Drek seemed fine........i dont know.......
But please....Peter and Tumnus and Digory are good people. Peter is blood....to you......He's the High King, he gave his life for Narnia countless times. Its one lion versus thousands of his frineds. Something is wrong...."-Zarath
