Hehe, racebenders. Anywho,i want to see Despicable Me,if I have the money.I believe the Tron movie is a sequel to the original one,so it would take place after KH II.I dont think it would appear in KH III either, but who knows?

...I saw the Twilight movie. Two reasons. 1,a friend of mine had to bring his sister and her friend to it and didnt want to be alone.i was the only one not doing anything yesterday.2,while I dont like it,I also hate it when people complain about stuff they have never seen/read/played/ whatever.Really,if you have never done any of that, how would you even know what it is that you are hating? You could just make stuff up that ends up being blatent lies, which i have seen happen.

Anyways,it was boring as all hell, though it did get one laugh out of everyone.Dont punch a werewolf in the face sweety, its gonna hurt.Otherwise, not much happened till the end, which was alright.Still not enough for me to recommend anyone but diehard fangirls to go see it.

I saw a trailer for Due Date the other day- it looks like something I'd check out.

Anyone seen The Sorcerer's Apprentice? It looked interesting to me, but I haven't had the chance to get back up to the theater recently. Since it is looking to be the flop of the summer, I was curious to know if it is bad, or if maybe people are just kinda over the whole fantasy thing.

Saw a trailer for Vampires Suck, too. The idea of a Twilight parody is good-ish, but this is by the morons who made Disaster Movie, and those other unfunny spoofs, so I'm not holding my breath that this will be any different. Though it should make a ton of money, since Twilight haters will go see it to mock Twihards, and Twihards will go see anything referencing Twilight.

i saw the Sorcerers apprentice, it was funny, good story and a straight forward movie. It was good, not great but decent.
I cant wait to see Inception, it looked tight. I really wanted to see it the day it came out, im not a fan boy or anything but i like how leonardo acts, i love most of his movies, even the bad ones were good to me. So i cant wait to see that movie.

I really dont care for parody, i mean some of them on youtube are funny, but the only movies that were funny was scary movie, and even that had a limit. So im not excited bout that one.

^ The Sorcerer's Apprentice? Judging from the comments here, the 72% community rating at Rotten Tomatoes, and the 6.3/10 rating at IMDB.com, I'm going with the assumption that it is decent, though nothing special. But with Inception released the same week, no one paid any attention to it. And I can't see it suddenly taking off, either, though I'd still like to see it if I get the chance.

New trailer for Tron: Legacy from Comic Con: Link

Alot of people with children were there today when me and my friends went to see it.I belive it was for Despicable Me (I want to see). Also,I rather not watch Inception. Not my thing. But to each his own, right?

So far this summer, I've watched The Last Airbender and Shrek Forever After and to be honest, I'm not impressed. Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me look really bland and regular so the only film that I'm looking forward to now for this summer is Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

The next films I want to watch is the Jack Black film that comes out this Christmas and also Tron: Legacy.

Anyone seen the trailer for Sucker Punch yet? Looks pretty kick ass to me.

The tagline on IMDB is "'Alice in Wonderland' with machine guns." XD

Edit: Decided to not be lazy and post a link: Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch
This was released at Comic Con. Apparently they're aiming for a PG-13 rating, though just looking at the trailer, it looks more like an R to me.

It's like the trailer for Sucker Punch has everything awesome thrown in- mechs, guns, dragons, castles, swords, ass-kicking chicks, and so on.

I think the story is really interesting, too-
I'm glad to see Emily Browning in another role. I liked her in A Series of Unfortunate Events. ^_^

So in an effort to revitalize this old thread, anyone looking forward to some movies?

Right now, I'm mostly looking forward to Deathly Hallows Part II, though I still think Sucker Punch looks pretty cool. And I know my nephew is going to be loving the Cars sequel.

And while searching to see what's coming out, I just realized that there's a remake of Footloose coming in October. C'mon, Hollywood, leave the classics alone, goddamn.

^ I'm guessing you mean that in the "I'm so eagerly anticipating this that I feel like it'll never get here" kind of way, because with the amount of cash this franchise has brought in, the studio execs would be complete morons to cut the series short.

I'm also still a little interested in Beastly, having recently reread the book, even though the appearance of the beast is already butchered, and there's also a Jane Eyre movie I'd never pay to see in theaters but would definitely rent.

Anyone seen Gnomeo and Juliet? My sister has a thing for garden gnomes, and I thought about going with her to see it one of these days.

Gnomeo? Blech...ruins the actual story. It's a kids movie so Gnomeo&Juliet won't die. Not classic R&J
