Maryland rocks, up until now we haven't had an earthquake for 80 years. I was at the mall with my friends when the store just shok. It stopped after like 10 seconds but everybody was worried that the mall would crack in half.....I live among idiots. XD And I'm totally gonna crack up when Hurricaine Irene turns out to be 6 inches of rain in my parts.

Hurricane Irene has already managed to piss me off and it hasn't even hit Maryland yet! I go to college on the Eastern Shore by Ocean City and I was supposed to move into my dorm this Sunday but no one is allowed down there now cuz they're evacuating the city before the storm hits! I can't move in until Tuesday now, which severely pisses me off cuz I want to move out of my parents house already!!

Well, Irene has turned out to be just a mildly severe rainstorm for me. It still knocked out my power for 3 days (bitch >I) But, now that it's all over I can say that I'm doing science and I'm still alive. (geddit?)

Mt. Vernon had its first earthquake when I was in the 8th grade and it almost hit 5.0 but it was in the 4.0 range. The aftershock is terrible and that earthquake almost made me fell out of my bed when I was sleeping. Just pray about surviving through the hurricane. I had family who was in the hurricane there but they survived it.
