  1. Abyssal Knight

Abyssal Knight I step back into the light of...

Aliyah had seen people running towards the park like they were running away from something. Aliyah smiled and went to go and check on it as she arrived, she had seen a man and woman. The man looked as if his arm where on fire and the woman looked a lot like Aliyah when she uses her powers. Aliyah thought she should've joined the fight but she decided to watch to see what would take place.
From the corner of her eye she saw a boy watching the fight as well. She could tell the boy wasn't scared. Aliyah continued to watch the man and the woman but also watched out for the boy she had seen.

Cassandra, with the grace and showmanship (or showomanship as she called it) of a ballerina, whirled around, facing forward towards her “partner.” The whip like coil of wiring held itself as a snake, rearing for sustenance from an unsuspecting prey as she brought it to a frontal position, gripped in both hands. It was with a smirk of delight and astonishment that she saw the man’s body encased in a shielding of fire, no doubt ready to leave her, in all of her beauty, dispelled of any hope of performing again. He was like her, so much like her; yet he was so much different at the same time. Never, had she encountered someone like herself that was so opposed to her shows, and never had anyone who was opposed to them had the nerve to challenge her on it to such an extent as he was.

It would be interesting to have a go against someone with such a strong purpose, though Cass couldn’t help but wonder things about him. She wondered how long he’d be able to keep his body wrapped up in the inferno he had created for himself before it began to tax his resistance to his own power. More importantly, she wondered what sort of protection that the torrent would offer him against her abilities; how well would her electricity pierce through his fires? Hopefully well enough, she thought. She already knew her weapon to be useless. One slip into the fires surrounding him and the whole thing would begin to melt away, and she would never be able to bring herself to use a damaged weapon.

There was only one way to test any of her wonderings: to tax him until he broke, provided of course that she didn’t break before he did. She didn’t like to think that way though. She would be able to outlast him, especially since he was already expending himself in maintaining the fire. Relishing the fun that would soon come of her time in the city, she commenced with a high jeer. “Come one and all! Come see the showdown of the century! Lady Valkyrie versus The Inferno! Who will emerge on top of this epic clash? Just wait and see!”

In the midst of her rant, she parted a hand from her whip, centering a collection of charged energy formed into a small sphere about her concealed palm. Releasing the rant, she cast her hand forward, releasing the small sphere into the air, spreading it forward as a condensed stream towards the core of the man’s body.
