    It's definitely Yuna. Her niceness, the way sh'e summons, the way she never gives up, she's one of the reasons why I have a staff of my own. ^^

    Auron and Lulu for fightning. Although i dont use Lulu that much.

    I chose Lulu because of her strong diversity of character!
    From cold and frigid guardian to loving and caring "sister" to Yuna!

    My favourite Final Fantasy character would have to be Auron ^^... For one thing, I find that he's the strongest person on your team (Could be because I leveled him more then the others -.-).. I also liked how his sword :3.. Wow that katana was pretty, all of his weapons of choice were, and I also liked the way he dressed, his red cloak thing was awesome XD... Something I liked a lot also was his personality, he acted calm, cool and very mysterious throughout the whole game... He'd keep to himself and never talked to much... And he was the trouble maker out of them XD... He'd act first then think later :3

    Sir Auron is awesome but I'm going to have to go with Yuna on this one.
    One Because she is a summoner, my favorite ff job is summoner's.
    two her awesome abilities like the sending and her summon's.

    When I created this thread (two years ago, gawd o_O), I voted Yuna honors to Auron, and I still stand by that personality-wise.

    But, as much as she annoyed me to death, I have to give huge props to Rikku. She is easily the best character to have in your party. She can do pretty much anything, between her skills, mixes, dismantling of mech/machinas, and item-tossing. If you're playing at a low level, she can really make things a lot easier.

    So, she gets in line after Auron. ^_^

    ^Except at the beginning, when he flails around like an idiot before Auron takes pity on him and hands him a sword. :p

    I'll agree that Tidus is useful to have in your party- Blitz Ace and Slice & Dice come in handy, and he's quicker and more accurate than Auron (and Kimahri also, I'm thinking). But he has got to be one of the most annoying FF leads. Only X-2 Yuna and Vaan could hope to top him.

    I hope that this would not get me in trouble for bumping a stickied thread. Anyways, can anyone give their opinion about why Yuna and Auron really outvote Tidus and the other characters? I was thinking that people would vote for Tidus and make him very overrated but I only see that yuna and Auron are tied up. This surprises me but surprises me even more that Kimarhi didn't have any votes. D:

    Tidus has a low amount of votes because he sucks. He whines all the time, says the most asinine things, and is just in general an annoyance. In spite of that, I still kind of like him some of the time, in my own way, but he's one of the weakest FF leads.

    Kimahri is often overlooked. I liked him, but there were more useful characters to put in battle, and more vibrant personalities to grow attached to.

    Yuna and Auron have a high amount of votes, to me, because of both their usefulness and their personalities. Yuna is just awesome, especially if you level up all her stats, and her aeons give her a big advantage. And Auron is great at dealing high damage, and has the most HP naturally. Personality-wise, Yuna is easy to empathize with- she's a sweet girl with a big burden, and she really seemed to grow throughout the pilgrimage in a way Tidus, for one, never really did. And who could deny that Auron is the biggest badass of the game? The strong, silent type, who knows more than he lets on, and he's also the oldest party member (and FF fans should know that old guys always kick ass). I found Auron really likeable and interesting.

    So that's why I think the votes fall as they do.

    I wouldn't say that tidus did not mature. He did around the middle of the game. To me, Yuna is the most powerful character of them all and her Aeons obtain more power as she obtain more powers. As for Auron, I like him but I don't use him that much for his overdrives unless needed. Yuna, Lulu and Rikku were my main three or I just replace Lulu and Rikku with just Tidus, Auron or Kimahri. Kimahri's lance ability tend to get useful somewhat. He is the only "blue mage".

    Tidus was my favorite character. He was the better of all the characters in my opinion. He was a heavy hitter finishing off my enemies and he was great at Blitz Ball. I enjoyed his personality. Always living under his father's shadow. That drove him.
