Like it or not, the kid who acts like a know-it-all but really isn't, is a human being too. This isn't enough to remedy annoying behaviour: they're annoying, human or not.

I also fail to see how I'm coming off as insecure... I know exactly what I feel and believe in regards to this issue, and it's simply that; the fact that someone is gay doesn't exempt them from annoying behaviour any more than it does a straight person.

It just so happens that the stereotypical 'loud and proud' behaviour is one of the many things human beings do that I find annoying.

@Paramore: Class act that you can put aside insecurities about your sexuality and consider things from the opposite side (ie. you said you agree with EbAl). My first impression is that you'd be one of those gays I'd get along with.

I should ask you though, since your testimony is at the heart of the matter:

What do you feel about flambuoyant behaviour? Do you feel it's something you, as a group, are entitled to? Do you find it demeaning? Does it further unnecessary stereotypes? Please elaborate a bit.

Settle dude. I think this debate is turning towards something else. In my opinion it is no longer a debate because nobody seems to be on opposite ends.

See, this is what I see as normal. Gay, but acts like themselves. We need more people like you at our school man. Seriously!

So. During my 5 day break of non-stop playing of Super Smash Brothers Brawl (If you don't have it, buy it) you guys have gotten onto the topic of stereotypical gays, eh?

Well, no gay person at my school acts like that. We all act just as "normal" as the next person.

    I get that a lot. :D

You're definately lucky. Chickie is THE gay word here.

If I would go to your school or hang out with you, I think we would get into big TROUBLE!

    XD

Well, anyway, Chickie gays can crack you up too. They are too serious. I think I hang out with manly gays. <--Weird tho.

Lolz. I have yet to see chikie gays. Be something to see though. All the ones I see are so normal. Still this is not a debate anymore. Someone get an anti gay in here. I'm bored.
    Lolz.
    But seriously.

ALL J00 LEETLE FEGGOTS WIEL GO TWO HELLZ!121!!1

    Anti-gay stuff. =D

But yeah. A lot of gays act sometimes even more profane and 'straight' that straight guys do. I know I do.

But it really hurts a straight guy's ego, if a gay guy is more manly than them. It is true and it is weird. XD

Well SkylerOcon, you fool me! hehe.

Well yeah, before I was afraid of gays, but now, since I began to know them, it doesn't matter anymore. That is what the homophobic need to do, get to know them.

But also keep in mind that merely acting, or being 'straight' doesn't mean you have a ticket to be annoying (not saying you are, just this brings up a good point). If that were the case, I'd be hypocritical.

I find feminine behaviour (in a male) annoying...I also find excessive vulgarity annoying...a trait found in many straight guys.

Well, what exactly is 'feminine' behavior? It's nothing but a gender stereotype.

yeah. one that he finds annoying. I dont see how that poses any sort of argument to what he is saying.

The point is, is that there is no 'feminine' behavior. Girls can have it and guys can have it.

If you don't like the term 'feminine' behaviour, then call it 'moronic' behaviour, 'gosh-darn-lovable' behaviour, or '2+2' behaviour. Your choice...doesn't change what it is, you know exactly what he's refering to.

    Whatever -- We got off-topic.

Can we try to resume the actual discussion now?

Thank god! I was wondering when some one was going to say that!

But a right is a right, ain't it? Doesn't matter your gender or race or sexuality. Look at history..

Black Civil Rights - End racisms, (Unfortunately, racisms is trying to come back)

Women Rights - Voting and they came up with the phase, 'Anything you can do, I can do better'

and Now we should have a Gay Rights Movement!

What should we burn? Bras? Underwears?

    Roflmao
That's probably exactly what its going to come to.
    *cough*

Anyway, by the time they get around to it, "Gay" will finally be a "Statement of Freedom" if you know what I mean. Like those skater anarkists...not that I have anything against them, but you hopefully know what I mean.

Nope I have no idea what you just said!

Well, anyway, it just get me mad when they put gay people down. Are they scared that they might turn gay? I bet you if they slept with one, they would wake up like 'DAM!'

    XD
