Genus Alpha

"Lame. Same old shit everyday, I need a challenge or at least SOMETHING to keep me interested here. But that's doubtful thanks to this god damn virus." Vex sat in his math class, slunked back in his chair, not paying his teacher the slightest bit of attention. He had already read through the whole book when the school had started and saw no point in having to go over something which to him was as simple as general math. He stared out into the window and looked to the horizon, and saw students walking the grounds of the school. He sighed and looked back at the teacher who had been calling him. "Vex! Are you listening to me," the teacher asked. Vex sighed again and said in a casual tone, "Did you want me to lie like some of your students or did you want me to tell you the honest truth? Knowing you want to hear the first one, I'll tell you the second one. No, I wasn't as I found your lecture.......rather boring and dull. Especially if you show your students the harder and longer way of doing it."

The teacher stood there, looking dumbfounded and stared blankly into the eyes of Vex who also had a blank expression. Most of the students could be heard snickering and giggling at Vex's smart remarks. The teachers cheeks turned red of embarressment and was about to yell at the students until the sweet bell of freedom rang, signaling the end of that class. "'We'll continue this next time class,'" Vex said mocking the teacher. Vex was a rather 'popular' boy do to his behavior in class but he never noticed it. He walked out of the classroom with no smile or emotion, even as the other students tried to talk to him. To him, popularity was something kids made to build themselves up. Vex had no interest in doing so.

 

(OOC: Obviously, Z and Si can speak their native Italian and Hatian Creole, Respectively.)
"Ah yes! Now I remember! I hope you've been doing well....Ila, was it?" Si was trying to be as formal as he could without sounding too much like a nerd. "Well. We won't be troubling you anymore for now, won't we Z?"
"Huh?! What!?!" Z's concentration was broken by Si's question and had trouble remembering what the question was, so he instinctively said, "Um....yeah, sure, whatever."
Si simply rolled his eyes and said, "Well, we must be going, I need to get to target practice and he needs to get to sparring."
Z handed Ila what appeared to be a rose made of crystal, "Veda lei intorno, Signora. (see you around, miss.)" Z said, walking away.
Si leaned closer to Ila and said, "Don't let him get to you too much. I hope to see you again! Pase bon jounen, sonje! (Have a good day, miss!)" With that, the two walked off toward the gym.
"Why did you make me look like a fool, amico? (Friend?)" Z asked.
"Moun sòt! (Fool!) You are lucky that she did not slap you across the face!" Si replied.
"Bah! You need to chill out!"
A small amount of flame appeared in Si's right hand, "I NEED TO CALM DOWN!" He corrected him, "You know how I feel about slang!"
"Qualcuno ha un incendio nel loro cuore! (Someone has a fire in their heart!) Ha Ha!" Z said as the two walked into a large complex that looked to be a place the Alphas could practice their skills. Si had no idea what Z said to him, but the way Z said it, it felt like an insult. Before Si could respond, Z ran off to a section of the very large room that had a number of wooden swords. Z had REAL swords back at the dorm, but obviously, the school would not let him bring them to practice.
Si walked out the door on the other side of the room to an area outside that was home to a shooting range. Like Z, Si had custom made pistols back at the dorm, but the school would not let him bring them to practice. The two picked up school owned practice models of their respective weapons and began practicing.

 

Rion had missed his first class he really didn't care about his first period because it was a period that taught him nothing about his powers. Rion was walking aimlessly and had bumped into a guy(Vex). "Watch were your going kid!" Rion pushed the kid then brushed himself off. "Kids at this school just walk so aimlessly."Rion said. Rion looked at the kid(Vex). "So you got a explanation for bumping into me?"Rion said.

 

Lux looked at the Counselor after the boy sat down.
The Counselor looked at Reon directly with a calm disposition.
"Reon, this man's name is Lux. He is like us, but surpasses both of us in his gifts."-High Couselor
"That has yet to be proven Wilson, and I'd rather it not be, haha."-Lux
The High Counselor waved a hand.
"Lux, you are humble, but this is besides the point. Reon, this man is skilled at what he does...and the point in me saying this is that he's received a type of vision. A vision of your death. He is a credible source. He once saved me from losing all my money in a bet...heh..."-High Counselor
The Counselor gave Lux a look, and Lux looked at Reon.
"Reon...the man I saw killing you is an old aquaintance of mine...and is much more powerful than me. He is an assassin for the Fraternity, and lives only for his own goals. For whatever reason...he wants to kill you."-Lux
The High Counselor handed Reon a sheet of paper with some information on it and a picture of a man with purple hair and dark eyes.
"This is him, this is Atrum Filius. He is the man that Lux believes is going to attempt to kill you."-Wilson
"Thats why I've come here Reon. I want to protect you from this man."-Lux
Lux gave the Counselor a look, then turned back to Reon.
"I'd like to start secret sessions on self defense and the mastery of your abilities outside of your regular schooling. I want you to be prepared as you can be for this Reon. If you ever do come in contact with this man, I want you to run. But you'll need to fight him off before your able to even attempt at an escape. This is purely option of course...it is only a precaution I'd rather you go through."-Lux

 

Vex looked at the boy who had bumped into him. He stared at him long a hard before replying to his question, "Although I didn't bump into you and you bumped into me, I apologize for the inconveniance YOU have caused us both. Oh and if I'm a kid, I have five times the maturity you'll ever have. So compared to me, you're an infant." Vex cracked a smile at the stranger and began to walk off. Other students began to gather and watch the two argue. Vex hadn't noticed, too concentrated on going to his next class, that the two had gathered an audience.

 

Rion looked at him." Haha!" Rion said as he moved the broom from the janitors closet with his telekinetic powers using it to trip Vex. " Your right i was an inconvenience."Rion said with a smirk on his face. Rion walked to His next Class which was in the same direction as Vex had walked be Rion hadn't notice his class was the other way until he bumped into Vex. Rion teleported to the door of his Physicists Class and walked in and sat in the back. "Can't wait till I get back home....It's a lot of work left to do" Rion said took of his Cloak and placed it on the back of the chair and leaned back in the chair waiting for Class to begin.

 

Suzaku kept on running and running towards his room. "I need to get to my room before it gets worse." As he kept on running, his body temperature kept getting colder and colder. "It feels like I'm a walking freezer." After a few minutes of running he finally got to his room. He opened his door, went in, and then shut it behind him as he fell on his bed holding himself. He tried talking but his teeth kept chattering. "I.....I need.... to stay in here for the rest of the day." "Its tttt.....the only way."

 

Z had been done with practice for about half an hour and was walking to his dorm, when he heard, thanks to his super-natural hearing, what sounded like chattering of teeth, and it was very loud. Looking at the floor, he saw smoke flowing out the bottom crack in a door, and when he reached down and felt the smoke, he shivered from the intensly cold temperature. He put his ear to the door, and could hear the chattering coming from the same room. He knocked "Ciao? (Hello?) Are you alright in there?"

Si was walking back from practicing when he remembered that he needed to pick something up from his Physics class. He opened the door to see that class was in session. "Sorry," he wispered to the teacher. After getting what he came for, he started walking towards the door but tripped over a students backpack (Rion's). "Mwen regret sa. (I'm sorry.)" he began putting what had fallen out of the student's backpack.

 

Rion looked at him. " Hey dude watch were your walking.....what are you blind?!"Rion asked as he picked up his back pack and help the kids up." So whats your name kid?" Rion as he checked his pockets to make sure he hadn't dropped anything else. Rion used his powers and teleported himself and the kid to there dorm house." So kid what did you say your name was?" Rion asked.

 

Si looked at him with a bit of annoyance, "I'm not a kid, I'm about the same age as you are," after getting that out of the way, a smile returned to his face, "My name is Simon Autri, my friends call me Si, and you are? Si mwen je nou bwav konsa? (If I may be so bold?)"

 

Dusk woke up in a deep sweat. 'That damn dream is getting the better of me.' He looked up exhausted to see the big red cross wide open windows and large white curtains. " You gotta me, the damn 2 got me," he said out loud. Just then a large woman in a white uniform peered around the curtain. "Nice to see you awake sleeping beauty," she said. " How long have I been out?" "About an hour or two."Dusk glanced out the window and saw some class 5 match, 'I need to get more powerful. I need to unleash the full potential of this virus.'

Just as Dusk was getting out of bed an administrator walked in, "Could I please see a Mr.... uh umm..... Dusk, he is wanted in the principal's office." Dusk overhearing this from behind the curtain got up and hopped out the window. 'No way am I going to see that old geezer. I am not ready for to meet him yet. He may have been one of the soldiers in that damned military facility.'

As Dusk glided out the window he saw a final barrage of attacks from the class 5 match. 'Now that's real power I need to work on my abilities if I am ever going to repay Lockheart.' Dusk glanced back over his shoulder to the window and sprinted toward the gym. ' I had better get some fencing practice in, I am already late for physics and I missed most of my martial class.'

 

Lux looked at the boy. The boy looked odly younger for a moment in Lux's eyes, then Lux looked at him anotrher way, and saw him as much older.
"He does have a resemblance to...no...thats not right....'" Lux thought to himself, but let the thought slip in his mind as he shook the boys hand.
"Now, when are you free Reo? I want to base the excersises on your scheduele, because i do not really care."-Lux

 

Dusk continued his sprint towards the gym, hoping not to get caught, when he bumped into a group of girls. One of the girls dropped her book, an anatomy book. 'Now why would anyone take a stupid class like this?' He thought as he reached down grabbed the book and looked at the girl questioningly.

"It is so I know how the body works and maybe find out whether or not this virus amplifies the abilities in the body, or if it is something in all completely different." she said. "I never asked but here" as Dusk handed the girl the book and sprinted off. 'Of course, biology - "the science of life", ' he thought as he ran off, 'that must be the key and me being an electric generator, engineering. Sounds like I need a few class changes.'

Finally Dusk got to the gym, and saw a spectacle. In the middle of the gym were two alphas duking it out one on one a pit fight, one using sword, the other guns. The thing that amazed Dusk was that in such a fight the gunslinger should be winning easily, yet the swordsman was holding his own. 'He's good maybe a challenge but I can take him on.' And without a second thought interrupted the fight with a challenging yell and a spark of lightning to the one with the sword <Z>. "You will not win."

 

The Dean gave Lux a look, then looked back at Reo with softer eyes.
"No one else but we in this room Reo know of any of this. I plan on telling no one of this event. Outside of this room, this conversation never happened as far as anyone else can care. But this is information for you and only you. Or more so...it is yours. If you want to let the world know that an assassin of the Fraternity is after you, be my guest. But I do not see how it would help anyone here any. Starting confusion and an uproar would only complicate things all the worse....chaos could crumble the Institute..."-The Dean

Lux looked at Wilson as if seeking permission to talk, but then The Dean understood what Lux wanted to say, and continued.
"But...Reo...if this Fraternity member DOES attack you, he knows that he'll be attacking the heart of the Institute. The students. The Fraternity hasn't made a big move yet...at all. And maybe you are the link between the war that is on the brink here. Him attacking you, and possibly killing you, could take the level of tension that is in the air of politics to a whole nother level. And in such circumstances...a force would be created to fight back with the Fraternity..."-Dean Wilson
"An army more like," Lux interupted.
"The Fraternity is gathering larger forces, and bringing back lost members. They are gain power, and rapidly. I have sources all over the world that can confirm this. Something big is going to happen, and my vision makes your future look bleak. I WANT to prevent it Reo. I do not want to accept this future. But chaos is what Atrum is all about. He WILL win, one way or another. Until he is dead. I am the one who pushed him into becoming who he is. That is why I feel responsible for all of this....and I don't want anyone to get hurt.....but when the Fraternity strikes, they will strike hard."-Lux
"We have to be ready."-Wilson

 

Rion looked at him with a confused look on his face. " Im Rion nice to meet you Simon" Rion said. Rion walked into the Dormitory and looked around for Room A-C12. " Simon can you help me find A-C12?" Rion asked. Rion wasn't really used to the school yet because he had been under the fraternity for year without knowing it. Then Rion had seen it and walked over to the room and put his ID in front of the door and the room opened. " Nice!" Rion said as he noticed the room was completely new and no one was in there. " So whats your dormitory number?" Rion asked Simon.

 

"Heh, fè konesans ou twò bon! (Nice to meet you too!) But just call me 'Si.'" Si responded. "I'm room A-C25, so I'm not far from here." Si started to strode around to hallway in circles before finally asking Rion, "May I come in?"

 

Suzaku's body was still cold. His temperature still won't go up. "Damn, I'm still cold and whats worse, I could feel the air affecting my bed so its getting really, really bad." Since he was so sick of laying down, he decided to get up and walk out of his room. As he walked through the hallway, he felt ice started form on his hair. "Not good. Not good at all." The ice kept forming until his hair was icy white and crystal like. "Oh no!" That is when in the hallway kept looking at him and whispering to eachother. ""Look at him. Hes a freak!"
"Yeah. His hair is crytal like. What a weirdo." After hearing what they said, Suzaku sighed and brought his head down.
