Aqua was surprised to see one of her fathers subjects so close to the shore. Father must be more worried than I thought... she thought to hserself, feeling guilty. Fighting to keep her composure, Aqua answered the merman, "I came looking for Talise." she said, deciding that people knowing the truth would cause a panic... besides the last thing Talise needed right now was Father trying to drag Talise home. The fate of both worlds rested in Talise's hands and her secret needed to be protected. "Sometimes she likes to explore near the shore of the human world. I thought that maybe.. I- I could find her here." she explained.

Talise just lay there looking up at the ceiling, thinking back about her encounter with that scary woman at the golf course. Had she just day dreamed it all? After all, weird things had been happening to her all day. Maybe she had just hallucinated and maybe if she was hallucinating Alice's sister would make her go back to that aweful hospital again. No, Talise would keep her meeting with the scary witch a secret. She was just drifting into an uncomfortable sleep when the breeze blew the window open. The wind blew a shiver down the young girl's spine especially because she heard something in the wind. "Talise...."
It sounded so pleading, so scared, so familiar. Before she could respond, the sound was back. Small, yet so audiable "Talise I'm scared. Please hurry Talise stood up from the bed, looking out the window for whoever had spoken. She saw no one. "Who'se there!" she called out, but got no response. She walked toward the window, leaning out to see who might be there but saw no one "Please, how can I help you!" she called but still, no answer. For a moment, there was no answer. Then, she heard something, a sound of rushing water. Down the street, she saw it go. Thin and glistening in the dull street lamps. Some dull curiosity crept over Talise. What is that?
A space in time vanished, Talise was now on the streets. The wet pavement felt cold against her bare feet. She knew exactly where she was going but no idea where it was. Time skipped again. She was on the beach, the waves were washing up on the shore, the thin stream of water lead right to it. That was her destination, though she didn't know why. Talise...
Someone was standing on the shore, hand oustretched to her. She walked forward, trying to make out a face in the darkness. But as she got close, the form vanished below the waves.
"Wait! Please what do you need me to do!?" Talise called after the person, now running toward the shore water to where whoever it was had been standing. But they were gone, Talise scanned the surface of the water for whoever it had been that she saw, but there was no sign of them. Dismayed and Lost, Talise turned to leave the water but just then she felt something cold wrap around her wrist. She stopped and turned her head to see what it was and her breath stopped in terror. It was a hand, attached to the arm of the most terrible creature she had ever seen. Human like in many ways, but glowing an eerie white aura, eyes sunken in and black, thin to a point of a protruding bone structure. It looked so skellital and yet so alive. "You can return to the sea." the creature said in a crackeling feirce voice "And you can die." with that, the creature yanked Talise into the water. As she desended into a cold black death... Everything faded.

Talise woke up back in Alice's bed, completely dry, as if she hadn't just barely been standing in the ocean. With an internal sigh of releaf, she realised she had been dreaming. Looking up, she saw Alice sitting there, maing an 'oops' like face. "Are you ok?" Talise asked her with a yawn.

    >I noticed you messed up Aqua's name. I fixed it though.<

"It is dangerous to go searching out alone Lady Aqua. Especially this close to humans. What if one of them were to see you? Leave the search for your sister to the search parties. I can understand that you're worried about your sister. We all are. But putting yourself in danger to find her will not help anything. Let us return to the palace now." The merman spoke to Aqua.

"Oh yeah, just fine." Alice spoke, forcing a laughing smile as she rubbed the back of her head. "What about you? You aren't feeling hurt or anything are you? I wasn't sure if you slept comfortably or not." Alice quickly leaped out of the bed. "Anyways, that aside I have decided what we shall do today. I don't know if your amnesia caused you to forget this, but today we shall do what all girls like us love to do. Shopping! So hurry up and get dressed and let's go."

Lance was standing on the beach shore, wearing only a bathing suit. His body was fairly well built. It wasn't extremely muscular, but he was in a fit condition. There wasn't any fat on him. The waves gently moved to his toes, calmer than they were a bit ago. Lance began stretching his body as he talked to himself. "Let's see... My personal record is fifty, no, sixty feet down, right? Let's try breaking that today. I could maybe go one hundred feet down." He walked into the ocean, swimming further out to shore once it became too deep for him to stand.
