    Not necessarily. Sites don't always have more than one admin. But I will agree that the staff inactivity is a problem, just as the member inactivity is. Unfortunately, at the moment, it seems like everything has happened at once- some are on vacation, some have recently moved, some are without internet. It sucks, but it happens. You yourself mentioned a few pages back that there are times when the real world just bogs people down.

    It seems that that's a thought that most of the people on this thread aren't quite absorbing though. I mean, it's been mentioned, but it's just been talked around. I think that if we give it two or three weeks, the regulars of the site will come back around, having settled into a real life groove, and then, things like expanding membership and whatnot can be spoken of if people feel the need to bring more people in.... come to think of it, getting a bit festive might make for a good gimmick.

    firstly you are not a staff, and you do not tell a staff how to handle a situation. That's one of the first ways to get banned especially when your telling an admin. She controls the forum not you. Stop trying to be bold.

    No one can out number an admin sweetie. I suggest you read the rules of vbulletin when it says the members are out number. Because if you want change you come to us. Not we come to you.




    IF YOU ALL WANT TO HELP STOP POSTING IN THE RP AND POST OTHERWISE. IF YOU WANT MEMBERS POST IN OTHER SECTIONS. WE HAVE A FEW THINGS STORED FOR THE SITE OVERALL FOR A CHANGE SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. WORRY ABOUT THE FORUM ACTIVITY.

    Well stated. The RP section is kind of dying, but it's not a concern in fact, quite honestly the RP section should be one of the least active sections(meaning we don't decrease the activity now, we boost the activity in all the other sections)

    I believe you're not admin and I just talked to Toph about this(believe me I believed in closing it for a weekend just to clean it out and such(much like what we did back in January 2009)) she said no.


    Firstly, as I do agree with Demaian, Zerieth, however sometimes all of us on staff do need some criticizing on our jobs on what we can do better, without crticism, we'd all live in a pretty stupid world.


    WE DON'T WANT THIS(AS IN THE DON'T POST IN THE RP SECTION) WE NEED POSTING STILL THERE A LONG WITH THE OTHER SECTIONS.

    I can say this right now to all the RP'ers on this site, none of you are in all of them, except me(which even then I had to drop out of a few due to life and poor grammar, unorganized, etc.) I never have to post in a RP every second I'm on the site, so during that time you sit staring at the who's online, playing games in the arcade, or staring at your user cp, you can be posting in other sections, can't find a thread to post in, make one... god dammit(I stole my great grandpa's words of wisdom)

    I have a complaint myself.:mad::mad: START READING THE TRADITIONAL STORIES AND COMMENT ON THEM! I have great stories and poetry like "Xenosaga IV" but instead, I get a whole lot of views. That's how my stories had died out because I can't go over the max number of limit of what I can post in the traditional thread, which I believe that Dawn told me was five two years ago.

    It'a still 5(unless someone changed it again) that is another place of work. However which this was brought up a year ago by a person which I didn't partially like nor others, but she was right on this fact, criticism is needed.

    And it goes back to my last post(except this was different criticism but still the same). Crticize different things in the graphic and traditional story section. I know I'm trying to do that(more so traditional, but will start with graphics too). Explain your view on it, improvements that can be made. Nothing is perfect(and nobody is perfect). For people being criticized, don't retaliate and argue against them, take the crticism and use it to improve yourself. Criticism is actually your friend and will help you.

    Then also for people criticizing, there is a limit. You don't just go and post "What the hell is this god awful shit, why the hell would you do this, you're terrible!" for instant example, that's going over the top. You yourself aren't perfect neither. Stick it to better terms and explain your view.

    "This isn't all that great, you have a few grammatical(using it as if on a story) mistakes. Your their in "And he told her to go their" is actually suppose to be there. The their you used is used to show someone's possession. There is used for location.

    You also may want to try and use different puncuation marks versus the typical period. Add some exclamation marks to add more action and feeling into your work. "

    That would be good criticism. If you're being criticized and your confused with the person's explanation ask them about it like what do they mean.


    This is one simple way to get involved in both graphics, traditional, and even when your not a RP'er, you can read RP's and post criticism in OOC threads for that RP.

    Closing down the RP Section is a step too far. The reason why I joined this site was purely that and a little interest in Kingdom Hearts. I don't think I'm even a great fan of it anymore. Anyways, I change it up often; posting news, reviews and sometimes graphics. I do agree that most people roleplay and the rest who don't roleplay generally leave but why is that? Is it because of the games themselves, as they follow the same formula time and time again? We have outgrown the Disney genre and to be honest, I think that is the essential problem. Evidence of this is from our rps themselves. How many actually have Disney in them? Most of KH Insider's member base also aren't even fans of Kingdom Hearts.

    I'm a versatile-diversed member if I do say so myself. I didn't even know how to roleplay so this site is more like the basic of how I got into it. I was here because of many other different reasons but I saw that this site was more than just Kingdom Hearts. That's why I joined. The forum was not all about Kingdom Hearts in my eyes.

    OH YEA! Please comment on my Final Fantasy: The Tragedies of A Timeless Woman. I got done with the first part of Chapter One.

    As for the banner, I think it would be perfectly fine witout it. The skins are catchy enough to pull people in with what they offer, even skipping the banner. It works for the main site, but for the forums, a lot of scrolling is already required for just getting to the forum / sub-forum one is intending to try and get to. I'd say it'd work if you can find a way to produce only a fraction of it's height, but with a banner like that, it'd be nearly impossible.

    What I'd recommend is trying to run the site without it, maybe, and seeing what kind of responses you guys acquire. If it's less than favorable, just adding the code for the banner once more is all it'll take to fix it. :3

    xD lol, Nice banner idea. Replacing the banner is also possible. The idea of having two headers / banners, though, is usually frowned upon by most people who visit websites. So, minimizing the sizes where possible (and applicable) is not only ideal but essential to maximize your crowd appeal.

    As others have said, I would have to agree that closing down the RP section may be going a hint too far. Although activity is encouraged to be widespread, if the RP section is pulling in the most amount of posts for the forum right now, it'd be better to find a way to even that activity before doing something like that. Basically, the RP section is the light of the site right now, and the lantern must continue producing light for people to want to follow it.

    Another thing that can be tried is some type of contest that encourages activity. On an old site of mine, I ran a contest that basically encouraged people to not only post themselves, but refer people and get them to post as well. At the end of the contest period, whoever had the most posts and referred members with high posts won a prize (which at that time, was a free game). Of course, this is a little farfetched, but maybe offering some type of KH merch to fit the theme. I have some stuff I can maybe contribute as a prize :3

    Though they still seem to be going strong nonetheless. Honestly, most of our RPs here that I've seen don't really rely on much Disney. Honestly, I think the problem with the RPs that I've seen lately is just lacking of a communal setup, and in some ways, creative freedom for perspective members.

    Since I care about this site and this was my very first forum I had joined, I really want to show all of you something. One site is from where the staff was suggesting the members to stop complaining.

    Do we really want to end up like this person was talking about? Arguing about this and that never being active and all that jazz? On Animemb, we're in the process of actually adding in some new fonts, still trying to add in some new arcade games and still in the process of adding some new backgrounds, regardless of rude members.

    I believe, based on what I've seen, some of the more recent RPs, haven't been allowing for equal opportunity, as far as each player potentially being significant within the plot. That's just what've been noticing lately anyways.

    Actually I don't think we even need 3 admins. I've never been to a forum with more than 1 unless it was an admin for a section of the forum so the other could focus on the main aspects.


    And I was not saying that we need a big roleplay grand shadow. I was suggesting something along those lines though to try and get people thinking about big things.

    In any case I've kinda had it with this discussion. It really hasn't gone anywhere far, so i might as well just go do something else.

    Given the circumstances we technically have 2 admins. Toph was put on as a temporary but she does her job so well i dont see reason to remove. Not only that Hope can't even access KHP anymore.

    People did. I don't think (and I believe that others shared this opinion) that you writing your stories, and carrying out your RP projects will garner more attention for this site. It really seemed, from my standpoint, that you were more outlining what you were about to do, rather than what should be done by the community at large. And either way, it's been established quite firmly that RPs, and stories in the writing section won't get much done. And that was the majority of what you've suggested, along with the same as what everyone else has been saying.

    Really, it's a cycle it seems. There's no one around to post, so no one is posting as much anymore. Hence, people decided to leave the site because there's no one posting... etc. And honestly, what's the point in posting in a section you don't always post in if only one person is going to respond once to anything that's been said?
