Can I vent here? Because I'd like to.
Either way, here goes.

I just don't understand.
In real life, everyone goes to me for advice and sympathy.
But do I really do that good of a job giving it? Half the time my advice is wrong, and I'm just about as insensitive as it gets. But they listen to me anyways. I don't understand why.
And, it never crosses their mind that they're not the only one that needs sympathy and affection.
I need some, too, y'know.
Even if I don't show it.
I've always been that quiet, calm, mature little girl who knew what to do. But, in truth, I'm not. I'm confused, scared, and I make mistakes.
Why do they demand so much of me? And why don't they take my emotions into consideration?
People always ask me what I'm thinking. Not what I'm feeling.
I have emotions, too, y'know.
And I need the same sympathy and affection that they demand when speaking about their problems.

This is the correct thread, no problems. I think you should feel happy that your friends trust you enough to come to you with their problems but you also have needs too and you should talk to your friends about what you need too

 

Don't worry. You are someone that people can connect to. That is all. Well, I call that a blessing htat you have friends who can go to you.

I am always right. BUT GUESS WHAT?! I FINALLY HAVE THE VALKYRIE PROFILE 2 SILMERIA GAME! WHOO HOO! NO more worrying about renting it and seeing that it is broken and can never get past the first chapter anymore!

 

I'm venting again.

Last night, my friends Marissa, Lydia and I lay in a field behind Lydia's house, staring up at the stars, eating candy, and thinking about life. We confessed what we felt, what we thought of each other, who we are, and who we'd like to be.
It made me realize how terrible of a person I am. I bottle so much up, and last night I just let it all out....and, as terrible as it felt, it was neccessary. I feel better now.

First of all, I'm such a hypocrite. I always tell people this amazing advice, but I never follow any of it myself. I'm afraid of change, and afraid of admitting my own faults, even though I always talk of hope and acceptance and change and asdfjkl. I'm afraid of change. And, when it comes to me, I'm so hard on myself and I'm so afraid of accepting my own imperfections, that I make everyone else feel equally as bad for not living up to my own ridiculous standards.

I'm way too serious for my own good. All I can worry about is life and school and how my actions now will affect my future, but I'm so busy planning it and making sure I don't fail, that I'm forgetting to actually live. And, being so prepared, what'll happen when something goes seriously wrong? How do I prepare for the unexpected?
That's the thing...you can't prepare for life, because life comes at you so fast. It is the unexpected. And, if you spend all your time planning your life, you run out of time to make it worthwhile.
I determine success by talents and grades, rather than by happiness.
Someone can be rich, successful and brilliant.
But if their status has left them miserable, just how successful are they?

I am afraid. Afraid to let people in, and afraid to show emotion. I classify emotions as 'good' or 'bad', then suppress them. Like, last night, Lydia and Marissa were talking about their boyfriends. Meanwhile, I was sitting to their right, pondering how they justified their love for the boys or not.
Do they really know what love is?
What is love?
And why don't I want to talk about it like every other teenager does?

They may "love" these boys, but they lack the commitment, knowledge and experience to (1) judge if it actually is love and (2) maintain a long, mature relationship.
I don't love anyone...I don't know what it is, but I do know what it isn't.

I HATE LIGHTNING OF FFXIII! I hate her! I Kefka'ing hate hate hate hate hate hate Linghtning! It is because of her stupid arrogancy that she made my Yuna to permanently die in Dissidia 012! I hatitdy hate her!

 

Soo... near the release of 3DS here. Cannot wait to get my hands on it, still haven't tried it yet at events or stores, mainly i feel that's a good thing since then it will be a fresh new experience right out of the box when i buy it on launch day. By the way, getting SSFIV 3D. ^^

 

meh, gonna just get it for Pokemon games and KH 3D. only DS games i own are both the KH games and pokemon games

jeez Summoner. I've never seen someone so obsessed with a Final Fantasy game like you are. I THOUGHT I WAS OBSESSED

 

XD That and pokemon! Well, and Pac-man, Xenosaga, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden, yadda yadda yadda for 1 hour and all that jazz.

 

Hey H. Summoner, if you like Xenosaga take a look at the classic Xenogears which is my favorite RPG. It is from the same developers, plus it is a Square Soft classic! They just made it available as a PSone Classic download last month on PSN for both PSP and PS3.

 

Xenogears is awesome. for a PS1 game, IT'S GOT ANIME SCENES GOD DAMMIT! AWESOME!

 

DX But I might need to have GameStop to do another order shipment. I had them do a order shipment for Valkyrie Profile 2. I knew about that game months ago and I think that it would be fantastic. ^.^ but the great thing is that I have a membership deal with GameStop so everything is 10% off of everything and anything I trade in, I get 10% more money.

 

Its the most epic RPG I've ever played to. The Storyline is extremely deep and involving. I love probably every factor about the game, and not just because i grew up with it!
