    You shouldn't need to be such a high level to beat him, even if you're doing a Kingdom Key only run.

    ~Sephiroth's attacks are clearly telegraphed before he uses them, observe his tells and react accordingly.

    ~Defense and counter-attacks should be your main goal. Just the guard -> counter attack combo disrupts his grounded pressure and allows you to combo him.

    ~Don't get greedy with your attacks. Conservative takes longer, but it keeps you safe from counter-attacks.

    ~Reflect is a broken spell, and you can always fall back on it if need be.

    EDIT: just realized I replied to a post in May. Sigh.
