Because picking a specific weapon (Sword, staff, shield) effects what level you learn abilities, name the weapons in order of getting the ability Scan from lowest level to highest level.

It is right before you fight Chernabog.

Sheild:LV. 12
Sword: LV.15

Those three weapons, sword shield and staff, all determine what level you learn an ability. So one weapon will learn the ability Scan before the other two.

The question is which weapon gives you that ability first, and which weapon gives you the weapon last?
