    Jacob opened his eyes from the flash to find himself in another forest. Instead of the bright geen forest he was used to seeing, this one was entirely silver. He looked around to notice that he, the girl, the guard with a helmet on, and the strange man were the only ones. A voice rang through the air, giving no exact direction to where it came from.

    Aleta looked suprised, she looked at the other three and then back at the mysterious woman "our... journey?" she said.

    The woman smiled and nodded, "Gerik, Jacob, Joey, and Aleta you met today and worked together to slay the dragon that destroyed Ordon not by meer chance."

    Aleta shook her head, thinking that this must be the craziest dream she's ever had.

    "I am Akerika, the goddess of Neveah." said the mysterious woman "And you four, are the chosen saviors of my creation."

    Koey notcied that he did not telaport to where he was going, he was telaported to a beatiful lushes forest place. Joey than noticed that he was looking at the goddess of nevah. He quickly reacted and bowed before her."I am not worthy to be in your presence"

    Liera gasped as the four people in the clearing vanished. "Well then.... I suppose I better see if those scales are able to be taken off...."

    With that, she hopped over to the side of the beast and began to pry a scale off. . . .

    (And that should hold her until they get back!)

    Akerika smiled gently "Arise humans." she said as all four of them knelt before her "There is no time to Kneel. There is something I have to show you. Follow me." she then turned and walked with the grace that would make any grand balarena self concious toward a still lake toward the edge of the clearing, it's silvery blue surface was as still and clear as glass.

    Joey thought about telaportung away, because he had bigger things to worry about. He was going to telaport to the man that had been watching them from behind a bush, but thought that it probably wouldn't be a good idea to do that considering the goddess brought him here.

    Jacob followed behind everyone, thinking. He had heard of the Goddess, but never really believed she existed. He noticed the guard kneel down in front of her. Suck up. Jacob thought. He sat down by a tree and listened to the Goddess speak, looking around the forest. It took Jacob a second to notice something that had been bothering him about the forest. There were no sounds. No birds chirping. No insects. Nothing that Jacob was used to hearing.

    Joey noticed the boy sitting by a tree and decided to tell him about your friend. "Hey.........don't worry about your friend, he was learking around, and my names Joey De Angelis."

    Jacob jumped. He hadn't expected anyone to talk to him. He saw the guard, Joey, walk over to him. Feeling that he should be respectful, he stood up.
    "Jacob." he said. "And what do you mean by 'my friend'?"

    "Don't play dumb." Joey smiled a little," I knew you and your friend were watching us the whole time. He's name is Garian, old friend of mine. But tell me a little about you though." Joey said in a carefree voice.

    Jacob hung his mouth. "You knew Garian?!" Garian never mentioned to him about knowing someone from the Honor Guards. Maybe... No, he can't know.

    "Whatever ever you say lad, but he doesn't know I'm an honor guard, I became a honor guard after I left with my dog, Arek, from (jacobs town). But tell me a little about you, like do your parents know you went to a destroyed watseland? Or maybe how old are you?"

    Jacob fell silent at the mention of his parents. He looked down at the ground. "I'm 17 years old. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself." he looked past Joey, clearly trying to avoid the subject.

    Joey knew he had hit a negative spot for the young lad. Joey assumed that his parents must have died in the invasion, but the name jacob just seemed so faimiler to him. Joey forgot about the name decided to ask, "So how did you meet the old geezer?"

    Akerika smiled a little, she just watched patiently while the two talked but time was running short and she knew it. "Time runs short, even as we speak darkness spreads even farther through Neveah." she said, interrupting the conversation. "And I fear that the life of your king, Warren is in danger."

    Aleta looked suprised "My father?"

    The goddess nodded, and motioned to the surface of the water which moved swiftly in circular motions until it very suddenly stopped, and became as still as a glass mirror. Images appeared on the surface of the water, Aleta recognized one of them as a younger version of her father.

    Akerika continued speaking to the four "In order for you to understand what you must do, you four must first understand how this all began."

    Jacob was going to answer, but the image he saw on the lake stopped him. He looked over at Joey, who seemed so familiar to him. "I'll tell you later." he walked over to the water, noticing a young figure. "How is the King in danger? And what do we need to know?" Jacob asked, hand resting on the hilt of his sword.

    Akerika spoke, but she sounded a little distant because part of her was completely focused on keeping the image there. "Are any of you familiar with the name Lucious?"
    Not even Aleta seemed familiar with the name. The goddess continued speaking as she spoke, the images moved as if playing a movie of events that happened only months before Aleta was born. "When king Warren was still the prince of Neveah, his brother like friend, Lucious, became very facinated with dark forces of magic. Lucious began to have very dangerous thoughts of what to do with dark magic... it got bad enough that the fate of Neveah hung in the balance and Warren had to put a stop to Lucious's schemes. He betrayed Lucious and tried to kill him but Lucious returned with powers that not even I can comprehend and he set a deady and evil oath over all of Neveah."

    Aleta's eyes widened... she remembered this story. Her mother had told her a long time ago "... that one day, he would take everything my father once heald dear and that Neveah would suffer for it's King's crimes?"

    Akerika nodded with a solemn look on her face. "Your father tried to stop him that night but his power was too great. The oath has been made and Neveah has already begun to suffer. That is why I chose the four of you. All of you, Jacob, Gerik, Joey, and Aleta have power that even you yourselves cannot yet comprehend. That is why the fate of Neveah can fall into the hands of none other than you."

    Jacob shook his head. "How can you even be sure of that?" he pointed at each of them. "I mean, look at us! We're not fit for this. If the King himself couldn't defeat this 'Lucious', then what makes you think we can?" he walked over to the edge of the treeline and stood there, back turned to the group.

    Akerika looked like she was about to answer but then Aleta spoke first. She was looking down at the reflection in the water "...He is my father and the kingdom in which I live and will one day rule." there was a sence of melancholy in her voice but also a strange deturmination "I cannot stand by while my father or Neveah is in danger." she looked up at Akerika. She looked at Gerik and Joey, and at the other boy who had walked to the edge of the clearing "Even if I must do it alone, I will fight. I cannot just watch as he destroys everything."

    Akerika nodded and said nothing.

    Jacob stared at the girl. Something about her made Jacob also want to fight. He looked at Joey, who stepped beside her. Then he looked at the strange man. Finally, Jacob looked inside himself. What he saw surprised him. He stepped forward.

    "Maybe you're right. Neveah needs us. I will join you." he looked over at Akerika. "I hope you are right about us being able to save the kingdom." he said.
