As the massive chunk of iron flew toward Raven, she stopped perusing Kaiden and stopped just in time for it to impact and fly right through her. Raven's form wavered and exploded with light like any of her other formations of compressed light. Just as this was done, Raven appeared at the base of the remaining massive tower. Unlike how she appeared before, Raven's body had a few bullet wounds. The dark makeup of Kaiden's bullets had a negative effect on Raven's flesh, and there were black vine like formations under her skin surrounding the wounds. Though the were slowly healing.
She used her wings to fly upward toward the people who were falling from the tower and a bunch of trees that were located at the park around the tower were overtaken and glowed with a bright white light before they grew upward behind Raven. The branches of the trees bent like rubber with Raven's will and broke the falls of the humans, catching many of them and lowering to the ground. A few of the branches also quickly went after the one Kaiden threw through the rift and caught him as well.

Raven then vanished once again and the trees around the tower returned to normal. When Raven reappeared she was standing on the branch of the only tree she left under her influence. As the rift began to close, but Raven would at least try to get Kaiden away from the power of the void while she had a chance. The branches separated into hundreds of separate sections that grew toward Kaiden and began to wrap around him like a cage intent on dragging Kaiden to a mortal plane before the window closed.

Kaiden watched in eager anticipation for Raven to be impaled, only to howl in anger at seeing his new weapon phase through her. She exploded into light shards and seemed to vanish away. Part of Kaiden hoped she was running away, but he knew better

Screams came from the rift. Kaiden turned and peered through to find Raven manipulating the trees to save humans who were falling from the iron tower (people actually went onto the tower?) And place them gently to the ground. He was too preoccupied to notice the branches that snaked their way towards the rift.

The branches then launched themselves through the rift and towards Kaiden. He flung himself away and tried to manuver around them, but the branches kept on his tail. One finally latched itself onto his leg, bringing Kaiden to an adrupt halt. They tightened around and began dragging him away. He lashed out with his sword and managed to cut away the first one, but more kept grabbing on and forced him back through the rift.

As the branches straightened him out to face Raven, Kaiden flashed a charming grin. "Ah Raven, you really shouldn't leave men hanging around." His eyes flashed to a spot in the ground, where a shadow clone emerged from the shadow of one of the horseless carriages. It began floating towards Raven, its center core flashing as a bomb formed in it.

Now within range and fully visible, it could be seen that Raven had in fact been hit by a few of Kaiden's bullets before she had managed to teleport away and leave an illusion in her place. Darkened bullet wounds peppered her left side mostly around her shoulder and ribcage. The darkness they were made of had lodged itself in her flesh and darkened her blood around the wounds. There was a faint glow around each wound as her light was already at work to expel the bullets. She shot him a disapproving look in response to his taunting. But she wasn't given any more time to respond.
She was forced to direct her attention to the bomb that was making it's way toward her. Great idea Raven. Get him out of the void at the risk of innocents... Even if she was able to shield herself from the damage it might cause, who knew what the blast would do to any humans who might still be nearby. She would have react quickly. With a flap of her wings, she was able to generate another gust of wind that she manipulated with a combination of light and wind magic. The result was a luminescent white cyclone that generated both force and light which would repel the shadow clone. The shadow crashed into both Raven and Kaiden, breaking the branches that held him in place and pushed both of them back through the void. The bomb went off just as the three of them were pushed back into the void. Her magic had been more concentrated on her repelling spell than on self defense, so she took the brunt of the blast. She fell several feet before she managed to regain her balance and bring herself to stop. The window to the mortal realm had closed, but debris from the trees and tower had been trapped within. Pieces of wood and iron hovered around the two of them in all directions. There was an open wound across her jawline on the right side of her face and more darkness damage from the blast of the bomb she had to take across her body.
But the wounds only strengthened her resolve. It was clear he knew she was hesitant to hurt him, or innocents. She would have to put aside her reluctance and stop holding back or he might actually defeat her. Harnessing the untapped power that surrounded them, Raven began to compress all the light energy she could focus, using the various pieces of debris from the mortal realm as focal points. "I'm sorry it had to come to this..." she spoke while the orbs of compressed light energy grew rapidly until they grew to combine to one sphere that surrounded both herself and Kaiden and grew unstable, unleashing a blast of the strongest form of light compression Raven had ever cast, the power of which would fall just below a solar flare.

Kaiden relished in how beat up Raven was looking. Clearly she was used to having to hold back in her battles, less she kill everyone around her. Kaiden had no will or desire to hold back. He would blast her and everyone else to hell to achieve what he wanted. Of course, he wasn't indestructible, and he knew Raven could see that. The branchs holding him dug into his flesh, causing a dark, slimy substance that resembled toxic waste more than blood to come oozing out. Normally, Kaiden would've remained unfazed. But these branches seemed to be infused with Raven's light magic, causing extra damage to Kaiden. The bloods drip caused the ground to bubble. Good, this body is adapting to me.

The instant the clone threw itself at Raven, she spun around and thrusted her wings forward. A light cyclone formed instantly, carrying the clone screaming towards them. It collided into Raven, who then crashed into Kaiden and sent them all tumbling back into the void. The second they were through, the rift closed, leaving the two of them to endure the bombs blast. Kaiden went flying away from Raven and landed rather roughly on a floating carriage.

Blood flowed freely from Kaidens arm. A branch must've ripped into it as it broke. He thought, looking for his opponent. He found her floating close to him, her body slowly being ravaged by constant darkness. If it wasn't for her own power, the darkness would've eaten her away a long time ago. Kaiden straightened himself out and was about to speak, when a simple ball of light began forming between them.

The light began to expand. Kaiden could see different sets of debris feeding into it, almost as if she was draining the leftover light from whatever got sucked back in with them. The light engulfed Kaiden, who could do nothing as he was mesmerized by it. Snapping himself out of his daze, Kaiden barely had enough time to summon the closest piece of iron to shield him. Right as the ball ignited, over half of him was covered. The remaining part, however, was burnt to almost nothing as the mini solar flare erupted. Kaiden let out a noiseless scream as his body began to crisp. The force of the blast sent him rocketing away, the iron shield going in another direction. His body smacked into a tree and he just lay there for a minute.

Kaiden knew Raven would want to close the gap and end the battle quick, so he forced himself back to consciousness and faced his opponent. A maddening laugh formed on his lips. "Raven, I'm almost impressed. That could've certainly killed me!" Kaiden placed a hand to his face and felt the left half of it burnt to a crisp. It hurt for him to smile, but he did anyway. He motioned his hand and bombs began to appear on all the floating iron pieces. Kaiden's breath became ragged, as he knew he was starting to reach his limit. But he persisted anyway, determined to have his prize.

"But as always, you lack the conviction necessary to win. Your dedication to save this worthless body holds you back. I'm willing to give my own body to win, what about you?" Before he could wait for a reply, Kaiden began tossing the iron bombs at Raven, surrounding her and trying to leave no room for her to move away.

I realized that I've been a not-so-good Judge for this battle. However, I have, as of right now, got a brief few things to point out. It's mostly on LS' part, and I picked up on them easily as they are the most overt issues. Starting with:

In the future, note that this much would constitute an auto hit, which is not permitted in arena play.

I figure this could very well slide by the argument that, perhaps, he was, perhaps, able to see or hear something that indicated such activity. However, augmentation of his senses, and the possession of a sense beyond the standard five, are not indicated or necessarily implied by anything within Kaiden's character sheet.

As the bombs surrounded, Raven wasn't allowed time to escape via teleportation and wasn't given space to move to safety. Her only recourse was defense. Her wings instantly wrapped around her body and began to glow with a dim white light that expanded and seemed to take on a physical form in a fraction of a second before the blast. The light that surrounded Raven instantly seemed to shatter like glass and break apart as the bombs went off all angles and buckled her shield fragments in on her. Raven grit her teeth as an intense cold burning sensation overtook her body the moment the blast broke through her shield and threatened to tear her apart. The bombs were clearly composed of dark magic that had worse effects than the shock wave alone that caved in on her.
A lingering mist of shadow held around the unsuspecting Raven, who took a deep ragged breath as the shadow continued to burn through her. She felt the effects in her every cell like acid.

The light fragments that still surrounded Raven from her broken shield began to break up even more finely and spin around her body forming a cyclone as Raven opened her wings, revealing a body more weighed down by shadow than ever before. The shadow had worked it's way under her skin, infecting her blood and giving her skin a dark grid that pulled back at her every move. Still, she fought on. Without a word Raven reached out with an old magic she hadn't touched in centuries. Touching the darkness with her own aura directly was something she hadn't done in years and the initial contact caused every cell in her body to scream in protest. But she allowed it anyway, to manipulate the lingering dark mist that surrounded her. The darkness blackened even more and spread to engulf the surrounding area so intensely it even shrouded Raven's own light as she darted forward, separating into multiple different versions of herself. Each identical to the other. Her attack came at different angles and times as different versions of Raven appeared from the dark mist she had manipulated, illuminated only fractions of seconds at a time with different weapons positioned to strike at Kaiden. Every second she took advantage of the darkness had negative effects on Raven. And the intense light that empowered each copy had the same amount of power as the solar flair she had summoned earlier. She wouldn't be able to hold this attack for long. But the desired affect was to overwhelm Kaiden with the strobe of attacks that would not be foreseen until it was too late to block them all. Each weapon that managed to strike would linger embedded in Kaiden's body and begin to grow unstable to explode with an intense, more condensed flair of light. Each appearance broke the darkness that surrounded them temporarily to reveal the battle between the two of them.

The explosions from the bombs blew a hot wave over Kaiden. Luckily, the burnt portion of his body had already lost its feeling. The cracking of the skin as he lowered his arm sickened Kaiden. This body is dying now. The thought slipped into Kaidens mind. He pushed it to the side and focused on Raven.

The mist from the bombs began to move. Kaiden could almost feel a surge of energy forming from inside it. Kaiden slowly raised his sword up as the mist swirled around him. Silence followed suit. The mist was Kaiden's darkness, he knew that much. But it didn't feel like his magic. Kaiden motioned for the nearest iron and it started moving its way to him.

A flash caught Kaiden's eye. He spun to catch the strike, only for Raven to appear on the opposite side of him. Her strike struck at his leg, causing an intense burning pain to rush through his body. Before Kaiden could retaliate, Raven appeared again to his right with a different weapon, a spear. This time, she struck him in the shoulder. The blow rocked Kaiden back deeper into the mist. He straightened himself, only to be slammed with a giant hammer. The pure force of light caused Kaiden to actually cry in sheer pain. Without even thinking about it, Kaiden pulled the iron toward him, blocking the next strike from Raven. He couldn't keep up with this movement, technique, whatever the bloody hell the woman was doing.

Kaiden noticed a hole in the mist appear the very second Raven appeared in front of him. They managed to lock swords for a moment before she vanished in front of him, only to appear to the left of him. Kaiden swung around and caught her attack, moving with her motions. He moved towards where he could feel the power. Each strike lasted only a fraction of a second, but it was enough to almost drive Kaiden blind. The light was too much for him to handle. But Kaiden has a plan.

Kaiden pulled the shadow towards him. He hated to use it, as it always had the chance to kill him when he did. But he wasn't dying to Raven. Kaiden grabbed a hold of the teleportation cloak he always wore and visualized Raven. Within an instant, he was behind her, or most of him was. His burnt hand was missing a couple fingers needed for a full set.

Without thinking about the pain, Kaiden thrust his hand towards Raven. The darkness in her would make it easier to spark this particular spell. He grasped the back of Ravens head and screamed, "Terror to you, Raven! May you forever swim in your own fears!" He viualized a locked box, filled with the fears and nightmares that she held deep down. And with a mighty push, he opened the box and let them out.

Raven's body froze as a cold burning sensation filled her veins stronger than before. She recognized the effect, as it was common for darkness to feel this way to her. But this was different. Suddenly her mind was flooded with the memories of her worst fears. She realized all too late what this spell was. her eyes closed as single golden tear fell down her cheek, it was too late to stop it. "Kable... what have you done?"

The memories were all too real and there was no pushing them back. Not with Kaiden's spell in action. All the times in her past when she was unable to control her magic flooded her mind at once. Because of her own fear, or anger, or sadness people got hurt. Sometimes it was strangers, others it was people she cared about it. Raven's worst fear was herself, and the monster she could be. The remorse and adrenaline kicked in before she was able to stop it. Her eyes opened, flooded with a white light as her hands and body took on an equally bright aura that began to expand. Raven's wings beat once and hard, they pushed her backward away from Kaiden as the aura began to disintegrate all of the objects it came in contact with.

Kaiden grinned mischeviously as Raven's body began to slacken. The spell was taking hold and drowning the woman in her own head. Kaiden let go and turned to move on, his body aching from the fight. A sudden change in the air stopped him. He turned slowly back to Raven as her body began to glow intensely to the point that the water inside the air began evaporating, causing a clear mist to begin forming. A beat of Raven's wings blew all that away, and nearly blasted Kaiden to pieces.

Kaiden retreated back as the light surrounding Raven blinded him from seeing her. Desperate to end the fight, Kaiden summoned multiple shadow clones, each with his own weapon. He motioned for them to spread out around the light. Kaiden clutched his sword in his good hand, waiting for an opportunity to show itself. It did when Raven launched herself back. Her wings blew an intensely hot wind Kaiden's way, but he dodged as his clones launched themselves at Raven. A few were incinerated by the light, but one did get through and he thrusted his sword at Raven as Kaiden rushed forward.

"Fight all you want, woman! I will toss us both into oblivion if I wish it." He smiled wickedly as he summoned a bomb in his mangled hand. "And I intend to!" Kaiden drew his fist back and threw everything into his punch, the light tearing at his already seared flesh.
