Let's See What You've Got (Wayward vs. DesiferKnight)

Having seen what she needed to see, Britannia descended from her perch in the tree. Dropping her staff to the ground twenty fee below, she dug her claws into the trunk of the tree and proceeded to grind her way to the bottom. Picking er staff from the ground she jogged to the castle walls, scowling at the embarrassing defeat the incapacitated guards had suffered at the hands of a girl less than half their size and age. Quickly searching the wall, she located the false stone in the work, and entered a short passage that lead into the courtyard. Unseen, save, most likely, for out of the corner of the girl's eye, Brit motioned for her to keep quiet, and use another smoke screen.

 

From the very second the the smoke pellet hit the ground, Britannia was on the move. She slipped down the passage way passed the girl; she had ignored the question, but all the girl had to do was look and learn to know the strategy. The bandit burst out from the passage, lashing out on the guards just as they were beginning to recover from the shock of being smoke screened. And to meet a full grown woman bearing staff and claws emerging from the haze instead of the petit thing they had had cornered only mounted their shock further. Knocking and sweeping them off their feet, and clawing them at the face where possible, Brit downed her batch of guards, and hoped only that he girl had done her side of the work.*

"That was fun," she said. "And now we get to have more fun, I suspect." She wheeled about to stand facing the girl. "I'd be honored to have this... Dance," she said with a smirk.​

 

"There's a good girl," Britannia said in a teasing tone. "No more running. The guards won't matter. You'll tell them you've got everything under control if they try to intervene." As she spoke, she paced closer to the girl. Her hand grew firm around her staff. If the girl's bite was as good as her bark, she'd be an interesting one to fight, and even more interesting to have around in the future. "Now," Britannia spoke, her face sneering. "Let's make this a good one." Both of her hands gripped her staff. She raised it in a fashion akin to a swordsman swinging a katana, and brought it down forcefully towards the girl's left shoulder.​

 

Having missed her mark, Britannia slowed the swing of her staff and retracted it to her front. For a few seconds she held it before her as though it were a flagpole. When the girl threw her headwear, which was in reality a blade, Brit stood ready. With a swift swing of her blade, she knocked against the flying boomerang, catching it in the bend. She pushed the boomerang down into the ground. She then moved in towards the girl. As she did, she cut her staff up as to hit the bottom of her chin.​

((Be mindful that your character is backed into the passage, so not much room for evasion)).

 

((So... I'm pretty sure that Trixy is still backed into the passage. You never had step out into the courtyard. So you should recognize that it's either in the courtyard of the palace, and Trixy would have had to have forced her way passed Britannia to get to it, or have exited the passage to get to a tree outside the wall. This is really just an observation.

Also, if the tree you jumped into was "huge," then the branches of said tree would, more than likely, be of a pretty large size as well, which would make it difficult for the necklace to simply cut through one that would have been particularly lethal.

At least, that's my assessment of the situation)).

((Like I said, as far as it seems, Trixy is still backed into the passage way (which is closed behind her) which makes it a bit difficult for her to just jump out from it. In particular with Britannia standing between her and the most readily accessible exit)).
