LOOK! Signature of the Week Themes/Discussion

I was actually thinking about restarting the Sotw soon, where as we have a majority or gfx designers who will compete. It would be pointless to restart it and have only "3" members competing? So we'll see.

 

I'll try at least. I used to be okay at it and I, myself, took requests. Btw my sig isn't mine. I need to credit him.

And yes, credit, we don't want no ripping around here.

 

If you need numbers on how many active members will be participating, I'll add to it. A bit of friendly competition on the forums again should be fun, yeah?

well its all about the comments and the critiquing. With experience as well, you would become better. I used to be darn right crap but after a few sessions with GIMP I was pretty good at it. It's all about the critiques and practice.

 

well im still having trouble with GIMP all the tools confuse me...
if i could get better through this... i would do it for sure...
anyone got anymore tutorials i could use to learn how to use GIMP?

 

Hmm, no I do not. GIMP isn't really a sufficient tool to use to edit or make anything. I suggest getting Photoshop CS3/4/5. It may be harder to use but it's worth it if your trying to be an excellent gfx artist.

I'll post some tutorials for GIMP, and I believe there are some laying around here. I'll edit this post to find some for you.

OH yea. It shouldn't matter if the person uses Gimp or not. At least they are a graphic maker. To me, Gimp is free and there are some Gimp users who are better than the Photoshop makers. Well, that is my opinon anyways.

Also, I suggest that we just start back all over again. -_- It has been a while.

Hmm I was thinking about free styling would be cool to start off with, so everyone can get a flow to any stock of their choice.
