I remember Nomura saying once that memories are very similar to the heart and this is why Organization XIII treasure their memories so.

from what i remember, they so far have only 3 things in kh for people, the body, heart, and soul.no soul=no life, you can live without a heart, and i believe without a body.it probably will make more sense as Birth by Sleep comesout. As for memories, its a way to keep people close,no matter the distince in miles or years that you are away from them.no matter what,it keeps them close.

Still i'm sticking to the unbirths having something to do with memories. Memories seem to be extremely important in BBS.

Ya know how namine could remember kairi and sora. What if Namine is the memories that Roxas should have gotten in physical form. Because Roxas does'nt remember anything about Sora's past but Namine does remember some. Namine could be an unbirth and Xion is really Kairi's nobody.

hmm...mabye.mabye unbirths are part of people, and too be whole after lossing your heart, you have to find your heart, nobody (if you are like sora and kairi) and unbirth

Wow. It's so intriguing. I really like the idea of Xion being Kairi's nobody rather than Namine. To attempt to discover this now, though, we'd need to know what the game creator's mean by the word "shadow." This is because Namine states that she is Kairi's shadow. Due to the ambiguity, the word "shadow" could be a reference to either her being Kairi's nobody, or an unbirth...either way, the connection to Kairi is blatant. Still, I think Xion's connection to Kairi is also pretty blatant...

What do you think about this in connection with the importance of memories? It's from Tennessee Williams in his play "The Glass Menagerie":

"Memory takes a lot of poetic license. It omits some details; others are exaggerated, according to the emotional value of the articles it touches, for memory is sealed predominately in the heart" (I, emphasis added).

Ok, well I know that it's been a really long while since I've looked at this...excuse the double posting, please. Stuff like this tends to happen when I can't research subjects full-force. College and all. I just wanted to make a connection with components of the human being with memories. I mentioned above that "memory is sealed predominately in the heart," and I think that the research I gathered about the heart, spirit, soul, and body seem to support this. That is, the heart could be a combination of the faculties of the soul (mind, free will, emotions) and the spirit (the first: conscience).

Here's the link to the site, if you are interested in learning more about our being:

I have watched a few trailers with Xion, and noticed that she seems to be struggling with her existence. She wonders how two people can be the same person, and exist at the same time. It brings me to wonder if she was not created by Namine and Namine's tinkering with Sora's memories (of course, I don't know yet how unbirths are created in the first place, so I'll have to wait for BBS, etc.). I guess for now it is just speculation and food for thought.

  10. Memories are very important to me and they should be important to everyone else. Even William Shakespeare emphasizes them. The guys up at Square-Enix got the some of the things of memories from William's Sonnet 55 I think.

Really? That's very interesting! Thanks for that bit of information; I'll be sure to make use of it.
