The next character will probably have a keyblade.Think of it,there is a story before BBS that would give an excuse for tons of characters having keyblades AND being a more mature game then even BBS and 365 days was.The Keyblade Wars.We saw the graveyard,we have seen people who I believe lived through it (Xehanort and Eraqus).Hell,for once they ccan have a villian who ISNT Xehanort,but still have him in it.I can even see it being Xehanort before he became evil,may be even having a different name to keep the surprise,then changing it because something traumatic happened that he believes he could have prevented,like Squall now calling himself Leon.

On Sora,I can see not using him for too much longer.Actually,it could be like Metal Gear Solid.Kingdom Hearts III could be Sora's last chapter as the main character you get to play as in the series.Doesnt mean he wont show up in others,but it is the last one that you play as him.If it is then I doubt that any game would go beyond Kingdom Hearts III,but instead be prequels,like again the Keyblade War and the takeover of Radient Garden by Maleficent.Hell,the last one has so much potential for showing off the final fantasy characters,all fighting trying to protect their home and loved ones.

 

Why can't Nomura do a prequel or something about the Key blade Wars and just explaining a couple of things? Why do he have to confuse us more. >_<

 

Because when he DOES finally explain it all,it will be that more epic.Really,BBS did explain alot,but it does leave the question of what exactly happened before BBS to create the keyblade graveyard...

 

I could imagine Nomura going all the way back to the origin of Kingdom Hearts as well, along with the start of the keyblade.

Also the true origin of the Heartless and Nobodies. Who was the first? Stuff like that.

i'm sorry but that made me lol, really, that was half past stupid. I mean mickey wouldn't do anything to make bad, he's a warrior of light, he has a keyblade, a gold one! Come on now, some things aren't even meant to be said. Now i dont think that there will be any more khs, maybe little side story's like maybe a game where you play with mickey, or with someone else, but really i think Kh 3 is the last, i mean really if they have a Mickey game telling more of the story that will be good, but making it like FF, would be a disgrace. It's good as it is, and does not need may titles, i would hate that. Would like one with just King MIckey.

 

I hope it would be the last one. I am a really big Kingdom hearts fan but why confuse us more? just finish the damn series already XD PLEASE!

 

If they make it good i would not mind there being more titles.Noone would,they get their entertainment,the buisness gets their money.Now if it goes bad then yes,I wouldnt like it at all that way.Noone would.

i still want to see a keyblade war prequel.Plus,why were there so many keyblade wielders?Were the heartless stronger back then?Oh,and if anyone says the heartless didnt appear until Ansem,Xehanort, and the other apprentices started doing stuff with darkness, look at this.

For those who dont,at starting at 7:03 we see Ven surrounded by Neoshadows.So Heartless have been around the longest.But were they once a bigger threat,causing a need for even more keybladers,or what?

 

well for one, the not real heartless the fake ones, where weaker, that real ones where stronger, that's why copies are just bad. Plus i'm just guessing here but maybe becasue there where more heartless around that were very powerful than there are in soras time. The Keyblades most have know this and branched out to as many people as they could so that heartless wouldn't take over. Because light was fading away from ppl so that means heartless rates would be going up like gas. that's what i would think. PLUS, keyblades might have not been so into the saving the world thing at the time, they just knew they had to do something, so they went to anybody they liked.
