It ain't a two vs one then. Its just two people with 1 character each fighting 1 person with two characters. Pick one you want to use dude so i can edit this with the guy your using.

Summoner i can't believe you two are going to get along for this match. Should be fun. As for your fight, i'd like that to be on hold so you don't have a reason act aggressive to your partner in this battle.

 

I've never done this sort of battle before. It will be interesting. Here's how i'm going to let his play out.

The 10 post limit will apply to each member of the team. That means you guys have 20 posts between you, and you can't trade posts. There are 3 different kinds of stances you can take, instead of the normal 2 that apply to 1v1's. First i'll explain the stances for 1v1, though i shouldn't really need to explain them in depth.

Now, the first stance you can take is an Attack stance. You guys have already done this god knows how many times. Basically its your character attacking the enemy, trying to strike it.

The next stance is the Defense stance. Even if you don't know it, you guys have made this stance many times as well. It's just as self explanitory, you blocking or evading an attack.

Now, the next stance will be a tad more complicated. The Support stance. To put it in easy terms that even Sb will under stand, =P, a character will try to use a technique and/or action will allow the his/her partner to be more succesful in Attack or Defense stance. The move can vary depending on the support type. Support types are basically, Attack Support and Defense Support. An attack support could be a move that raises your friends attack power, or magic power. This can be done in a few ways. Either your character uses an ability that helps your partner like adding an affect to their weapon, or just boosting their bodies, or your character can create an opening that your partner can take an advantage of.
The Defense type can be broken down in the same way. Your character can either cast a shield that can act as a defense stance for themselves and their partner, or they can take an attack and set up a counter situation that will give your partner an opening to make a move. A Counter Support stance, that can combine the abilites of both of the last support stances. Counter can also work by giving your partner a speed boost like grabbing their arm and throwing them, or just simply using an ability that will increase their speed. Counter situations won't happen often, because certain conditions have to be met that will vary from time to time. Here's a quick example.

Character A is on the attack. Character B is in a position were it will be hard to guard, because they just came off their attack stance and are still trying to get into defense. Character C is position in Support stance, but the specific form is not set yet.

Therefor A is on Attack Stance, B is in transition which is the most dangerous time for him, and C is on Support stance.

Now, C see's A's attack and enters into Defense Stance to give his partner a hand. He jumps forward, and puts himself in A's path.

Now A is still on Attack stance, but his target has to be C now because getting to B is impossible. B is still in transition and could go either way depending on how this plays out. C is now set to Defense Support.

A's attack collides with C's defense, and C uses the oppurtunity to push A's weapon away from A's body so he can't defend.

A is on Attack Stance, and is now stuck with no defense at all. B is set to attack stance now and is prepared to take advantage of this. C is still now on Counter Stance. We have just now entered a counter situation were character B's attack is increased and A's defense is decreased.

C will not be able to take part in this attack, or A can get away. A can not get away, and B is taking a run up to put A in a world of hurt.


Thats how this will work out. We'll try free so the teams can adapt faster.

 

I want the partner to able to respond. If this was a 2v2 it would be like this.

Team 1=A and B Team 2= C D

A, C, B, D, repeat

So the partner can react to the attack.

Turn order is like this.

Summoner, Zhyriad, Moogle Zhyriad with his other character.
Since it seems zhy is using 2 characters. If speed is damaged the turn order will be changed at my disgression, depending on the scope of the attack. I'll think long on it, and i hope it will work well for you guys. Well, lets get this fight started then. I'll post the competitors in the arena Alpha.

Also, it Zhy, those things are done uncouciously. I said in the beginning of the post that you guys do that stuff normally. I'm just letting you know what to expect. That would happen even if i didn't tell you about it. This will just change stuff so that you guys don't have any confusion when these moments happen.
