    Anatomically speaking, if he was channeling all but one twentieth of his energy into his palm, then all that excess energy that put on that 'display' would have only crackled around his arm, if any energy at all were left to crackle.

    As for the whole lightning from fire thing, I can't find that any less credible than somebody opening a portal to the underworld. Anyways, it worked on Avatar!

    Ummm. What? The energy he claims to be using just to charge up would do more than just crackle his arm. I'm pretty sure of that.

    That's because it's magic, and utilizes spiritual energies. The credibility is all in their character sheets. And I've been sticking to the abilities my character has available to him, and I've not been producing ridiculously large sums of energy out of nowhere.

    It's not what Zerieth did that's the problem, but the way he did it. The amount of energy that he is describing simply cannot exist within Ben without it being alluded to in his posts, or in Ben's profile.

    All humans have a tremendous amount of energy inside of them. Like when a woman lifts a train car off of her child. Ben just simply brought all of that out of him at once, leaving just barely enough to keep his internal organs running and his brain living. Likely as not, this move will put him in a coma. This fights getting so prolonged that I am trying to move for a tie. Your character is probably gonna get dusted, and once Ben feels the affects of this spell he will be down to.

    Lifting a train car off of one's child is different from producing the amount of power that Ben seems to be channeling. It would take a massive amount of energy to mend the portals that Kuan has forged, and amount of energy that humans can't simply draw out. The anecdotes you're using can't be applied to this battle, because the energy of which you speak is not of the same nature as that which Ben is using.

    And Kuan won't necessarily be dusted because he has means by which to defend himself from the attack.

    I dunno, i just want it over.

    And with all the power ben has got, he could in theory do what he just did. If you will note, he didn't mend the portals, they got disrupted. The two are different.

    Well, if Ben has that much energy stored up in him all of a sudden, then Kuan would be able to produce a similar amount of power, plus a little more, since he has two reserves of energy to draw from.

    Yes, that is true. Oh well, I lose. =P. And all humans would have this kind of power. At least, all of my characters do. I just don't like to use it because, well, it would be an all or nothing deal. Basically this is his desperation move.
