I see Virgil but not Selena. Personally if where comparing things Selena is a lot like Yumi from Code Lyoko, or Aqua met with Xion, or heck the character Selena is actually designed after is Riku.

 

Ok I think we need to have a little chat about Power Playing and God Modding...

Power Playing- In RP, the term Power Playing, also known as PP'ing, is when one character takes control over or has another character belonging to a different RP'er do something not permitted or to make their own character better.

PP'ing is easy to pick out or it can be like a needle in a hay stack, it takes a lot of experience and knowledge to pick it out, and this RP has quite a bit of it. Many as I said easy to see others not so much,

During battles you especially need to watch. Not every attack is head on, but more importantly not every attack kills a character. That's what I'm seeing a lot of. Moves in battles that the followup of the attack in the same post is talking about how the character is unable to escape gruesome pain. Sure attacks can be damaging and obviously some can't be avoided, but there needs to be that space to allow the victim to redeem themself.

The feedback though also needs to be watched because it leads to our other trouble maker in this RP, God Mod.

God Modding/God Modeling- In RP, also shorten as GM'ing, it's when a RP'er has their character becomes as powerful as a god that it's a model of a god.

GM'ing can be done in many different ways, and to the newest of members, they fall guilty of it, but even the long time RP'ers if not careful fall guilty to it's clutches as well.

We've had several different cases pop up in this RP.

Case 1: Battles: No matter what it seems were in a constant battle of who's the best trying to make our characters out like gods. First off, one needs a really good reason to be doing so, number two, even then there's limits, even more limits to be precise. One first off does not simply dodge every single attack, nearly kill another character, and just overall power house.

Case 2: Power and control over everything outside of battle.

I'm not going to go into deep details for each case because,
1.) You should know them
2.) We have a guide that does
3.) I'd be spending a ton of time and this post would become a novel
4.) I don't even know how many of you are actually going to read what I have written.

 

Sorry about my inactivity recently, I had to replace the power fan thingy in my computer and that took a bit, but, now I'm back and wondering if there's any way I can get back in this ?

 

Well Sky is in Merlin's house alone. Perhaps you can have your character pop up there. Maybe say your character's been training and Sky can fill him in.

 

So are we just going to let this die or are we going to finish this?
