The boy turned back, fist balled up, but was stopped by the leader.

"Go on ahead."

The boy looked up at the leader and then at Violet before turning and disappearing through the portal.

The leader looked at Violet and said, "I believe you have several abandoned apprentices to attend to Violet. I suggest you go to the forest and retrieve them before they seek a futile vengeance against the others." He looked at the portal before looking at her again, continuing, "We have achieved everything that we needed today, all thanks to you all and Selena. Jordan is dead, and you all may rest easy and train." He turned again and began to walk away.

One by one the other apprentices began to leave, feeling that all was futile and knowing their master was dead.

"Come on Jason. There's nothing else we can do," one boy said to the green haired boy in the tree.

"No...I'm not leaving."

"Fine, whatever." And with those final words, Jason was alone.

Cole sighed and shrugged. "I...I don't know. I came all this way to find the only people I remember. And they're all dead, minus Darian... I think....I'll get stronger....then, I can take the Mark of Mastery and pass it, knowing I deserved it this time."

"Master Yen Sid will be happy to see you again." Selena told him.

"Nothing was accomplished today. A being of darkness was accomplished, however a life, a great life was lost, Jordan shouldn't have died. I want to know who you are, I remember you, and Selena seemed to really recognize you and hate you. Who are you?" Violet asked concerned but she could sense the apprentices one she particularly knew, one who if compared to somebody else was like Sky with Selena.

Cole nodded. "But maybe, afterwards, I'll come back...hang out with you guys for a while."

The leader stopped and chuckled. "You talk as though you had no part in his demise? No matter. As I said, everything I have set to accomplish has been done so perfectly so far. And, as I have said multiple times, my identity is irrelevant at this time. The death of Jordan was a necessary loss...and a temporary one."

Will sat quietly at the top of a clock tower in Traverse Town, scarf hiding the scowl on his face as his mind remembered all the times him and Jordan would have sat up on the clock tower back in Twilight Town. How often him and his best friend would take everyone that was at the sandlot on for a struggle match. His mind was in so much turmoil over this massive event that he didn't know what to think. On one end his best friend had just passed, but on the other... His friend had become something different. A monster. One who fed on hearts for power. He had let the beast inside of him take control.

Will slowly shook his head, eyes glancing down towards many of the people below who milled about, minding their own business, unaware that someone who could have killed them all had just passed. Will felt the two monsters in him, one crying for honor, justice. The other screaming for blood, revenge. The one wanted to mourn Jordan and learn from his passing, yet the other wanted Selena's heart on a platter for his own morsel.

The sad fact was, Jordan's passing had made Will a different monster. One that wanted to mourn his friend, but also wanted blood spilled for the fact that he was in pain. Will's wings spread lightly in the night sky. He perched and prepared to drop towards the ground, claws growing on his right hand. "They will feel my pain... They will suffer with me..." He breathed, dropping towards the townsfolk, preparing to feast.

Xaldin appeared beside Violet and frowned, "You know what I seek, but yet you will not tell me where to find them. If you will not, then allow me to explain. Vexen's extensive research has provided remarkable results. He believes he has found a fail-safe that will allow us to regain our hearts even if we were to fall in battle. If a person creates a Heartless AND a Nobody, and both are defeated, then it is possible the Somebody will be reborn in the place they last were with a heart. Violet. Fimd the Heartless and Nobodies of your two comrads and you may be able to revive them. Good luck..." He eyed the two for a brief moment before vanishing.

Only to appear by Will and catch him before he flew off. "Congratulations on your victory. You may keep the Keyblade. However, you still serve me, and you owe me for making you whole again. Do not become what Jordan did, he would not want to see his friend follow in his footsteps. Come, we go now..." He opened a portal and gestured for Will to enter.

"Temporary...?" Violet looked at the leader. "You mean Jordan, my Jordan, not that dark thing, but my Jordan will come back?" Violet asked.

Selena smiled at Cole and nodded her head.

"I'd look forward to that. In fact I think Jordan would probably would of wanted that too." Selena smiled at Cole and then looked at Virgil.

"As for us?"

A laugh rang out behind Selena as Axel and Saix approached the group. "More like, us, Selena, Virgil, Cole." Axel nodded to each as he spoke. "Y'know... Jordan and that Deimos kid aren't gone for good... They were strong, probably created Nobodies!" He walked up to Virgil, but didn't notice the moving shadow beneath the teen, until it rose from behind Virgil and lunged at Axel, who barely managed to dodge. "What the fuck?! What the hell is that thing?"

Virgil's shadow took on a form that looked like a large heartless Guardian with a gauntlet on one arm. The strangest part though, would probably have to be the single glowing eye with a red cross spinning inside it.

Axel stood there shocked, but didn't move. "Wh...What is that thing Virgil?"

Crossing his arms slowly Virgil raised his head to the sky, not giving response to Axel. At this point Virgil let out a huge sigh, lowering his head he closed his eyes. the only thing that Virgil wanted at this very moment was to spend time with Selena however things still seemed to deter him from doing so. leaning his head to the left, his neck cracked. then again to the right. he cracked, adjusting himself opening one eye and his black star was active. " That is something of my creation. Though i wish it not to be here. I doubt it will linger long honestly it has a strong connection with that of well...the recently passed Jordan. who's existence might still be around. So if i was to guess its going to seek it out."

"Turning his head to Selena then shortly his entire body. the tension in his muscles loosened . a warm smile that she had not seen in such a long time directed at her. " As for you and me, only time will tell. For now i just want to be by your side from here to ever after." He leaned in pressing his lips against hers gently. then slowly pulling away. " Just relax Selena...i know you want answers and i know you want a direction. But for right now we have to just carry on the best we can until we get those answers." He lifted her chin up with his finger slowly. " So, tell me what do you see in the future for us.

Will eyed Xaldin, shifting his glance between both the crowd below and his current mentor. "I need power. And this is the simplest way to get it. The monster that can be controlled is the monster you have made peace with. I have made peace with my other halves. So now, why shouldn't I embrace their nature? Let the hate wash over me, allow my strength to grow under the steady tutoring of bloodshed?" He growled. He had a point. If he was going to stop the heroes he would need to be stronger. But he looked at Xaldin and smirked. "I will follow this time, but next, perhaps you will be a few minutes late." He breathed, entering the portal.

The leader smiled under his hood and patted her on her shoulder in a genuinely caring way. "Farewell Violet. Until next time," he said. He finally turned back around and walked through the portal, closing it shut behind him.

"Hey...what about me," and wounded Darian chuckled out as he limped over to the group with Zac. "I know I'm forgettable but I hope there's room in this little soiree for me?" He limped over and nodded at Cole, who replied with a nod of his own.

"Good to see you again Darian..."

"Likewise..."

"Hey you guys are okay," Zac said with a smile, referring to Selena, Virgil and Cole, "So... Wait what happened to Sky? And what's the plan next? Still more evil out there?"

The Shadow Heartless climbed ontop of Zac's head and sat ontop. The Keyblade wielder didn't care, he found it interesting that a heartless wasn't really heartless persay.

Axel Finale part 1/Xaldin and Will finale part 1

Axel let out a breath of relief and looked at Saix with a frown, "C'mon Isa... we'd better get going... You saw what happened to Angel out there right... Collapsing like she did is NOT normal." Axel walked up to Selena and whispered, "Please come with us... You're her friend as well, I think you already know about her condition... Please, if you find time... come..." He walked away with doubt hanging over his head as he glared at Darian visibly, before vanishing into a dark portal.

Xaldin followed Will, putting his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Your friend is not gone for good. His time was not up yet, and I can promise you... we haven't seen the last of Jordan." He looked cautiously over to an intense shroud of darkness near the Clock Tower, before closing the portal behind him.

Will's Final

Will turned slowly to Xaldin, true hatred in his eyes. "I'm going to need your help. I want them to burn. I want to leave a smoldering crater where they once stood. I want their blood on my hands... I want revenge..." He growled, voice cold as he flipped his blade up onto his back, the large blade resting between his wings. He slowly stretched before looking at Xaldin again. "I want you to help me make them suffer... show them how it feels to watch their friends fall around them, show them that I am a force to be reckoned with..." He breathed, eyes glowing an eerie amber. He felt both sides of him inside cheering, happy that he was taking the road that he would get his vengeance, no matter what the cost. "We shall have justice!" William roared in his head. "They're going to suffer... I'll make them bleed!" Willy called, almost in a childish voice. Will just smiled, knowing that, for once, his entire being was at peace with his goal.

Xaldin and Will Finale part 2/Deimos finale

Xaldin smirked and patted Will on the back, "Very well. Since you've been loyal to me and as a reward for defeating yourself, I will get you an audience with The Superior. There, you can ask for a mission that coincides with your wishes. Fear not, I will vouch for you, and as one of the originals, my word has greater power then the others after us." Summoning his keychain, Xaldin laughed, "Oh yes. You can keep my keyblade. I was never able to use it anyway, so it does nothing for me. Use it well, Will."

Xaldin entered Where Nothing Gathers and bowed, "Superior. Saïx and Axel have yet to return, however, as you witnessed, Jordan has fallen. My apprentice, Will, has, in my eyes, earned an audience with you for his free mission. He not only defeated his other selves without my assistance, but he has been unquestionably loyal to the Organization's goals." He nodded to Will before continuing, "Also, I believe he is now strong enough to take part in our... special challenge."

Xaldin turned to Will and explained, "As you are not a Nobody, you cannot join the Organization. However, since you are my apprentice, you have a right to participate in our arena. There you will fight first, an array of a specific member's Nobodies, and if you manage to defeat them all, you will fight the Member who controls the Nobodies. Originally, it went Larxene, Marluxia, Luxord, Demyx, Axel, Zexion, Lexaeus, Vexen, Myself, Xigbar, Saïx, and finally, Xemnas. However, since Marluxia has gone rogue... he is no longer an opponent. Therefore, starting from when you awaken on the day you wish to attempt the challenge, you will battle Larxene's Nobodies, and Larxene. If you win, you have an hour long reprieve before you do battle with Luxord's Nobodies and then Luxord. This will continue, with an hour long reprieve after each victory, until you reach the Original six. Here the rules change a bit. Zexion, Lexaeus, and Vexen do not have a special Nobody under their command. Therefore, you will have three hours to prepare for a three on one battle with Vexen, Lexaeus and Zexion. If you manage to win, then the rules change in your favor. You will battle only the Organization member, starting with myself. If you win, you get a two hour break until you face Xigbar. Then Saïx, and ending with Xemnas, the Superior." Xaldin smirked and continued, "If you claim victory, we will grant you full access to the castle, with the exception of Xemnas' office, and grant you a throne here in Where Nothing Gathers." Xaldin turned to Xemnas, "Superior? Do you agree?"

The large guardian-like heartless growled but made no attempt to harm anyone present. Instead, it merely floated quietly behind Virgil, awaiting any type of orders.

Far from the heroes, in a pit of darkness, floated an unconscious being, who bared a striking resemblance to the deceased Deimos. However, it would only awaken, when it's friend had returned. Until then, it would stay dormant, and undiscovered. Until then, it would sleep.

End of Two

The Heroes Divided Thoughts

Selena smiled at Virgil before thinking over what to say next. What would the two of them do now? Having stopped any current threat, the group was seemingly in the clear for now. All they could do was wait now. Wait for any future danger to arise. Whenever that danger may choose to show its face.

Darian looked back at Axel and scoffed. The Organization. The group that had taken and aided his brother before he accomplished his goal under his "masters". He could not forgive them. He could never forgive them. And deep down, he wanted revenge. On all of them.

Cole looked up into the sky. He had lost his closest friend that he barely knew. Now he had to move on from this experience, and take it as a lesson. He had big things to accomplish now, not to mention his Mark of Mastery exam now. Everything in his mind now seemed to be at ease.

The Lost Soldier

Jason and about two other apprentices were left outside of the castle. Jason leaned against a tree while the other two sat in it. They sat and watched as the only true place they called home and felt accepted began to collapse. The other apprentices that had escaped with them ended up leaving, believing there to be no hope.

"J-Jason? I...I don't think-"

"We're waiting. Even if it's forever. We're waiting."

The apprentice that spoke sighed and looked downward. Jason did the same, not truthfully knowing if anyone was going to come out from the rubble.

And as he looked up, a portal opened before the three apprentices, with a purple haired girl walking out. Their new master.

The Recruit

Xemnas stared at Xaldin before staring at Will. "A Keyblade wielder? Interesting Xaldin. So this was your own little project, I see. If he follows orders well, then I have no question that he will prove to be an invaliable asset to our team." A knock at the door was quickly followed by Vexen and Zexion rushing into the room. "Vexen, Zexion...what brings you two here?"

Vexen stuttered out, "Well su-superior, i-it would seem J-Jordan is no longer o-of this world."

"I realize this."

Zexion cleared his throat and said, "Yes, well, it would seem Jordan isn't. But something else, very close to him, is."

Xemnas shot him and Vexen a look, confused by this comment. "He was killed, was he not?"

A twisted smile erupted on the face of Vexen.

"No. He wasn't."

The Sleeping Spawns

Somewhere far off in a remoted world was a floating black ball. It rested deep beneath the ground in a black cavern. Red and purple static shot off from it and electrified whatever was in the vicinity.

Elsewhere, a gray and black ball was resting underneath a remoted world as well. The river of water that ran by it began to freeze solid, as did the rest of the environment around it.

Both creatures were awaiting their awakening.

Waiting for the moment that they'd be free from their constricted prison.

Waiting....just waiting.

The Plan

"The plan was for him to DIE?! What the fuck is that," screamed the wild tempered member. Another member grabbed the chain that was around his neck and yanked it back.

"Easy Drona, don't get too hasty now. Although, I agree that we should have been informed of such a pressing matter. It was to my knowledge that we were simply awakening the Darkness."

"Haha, does it matter now? What's done is done," the raspy voiced old man said on the side. "Besides, I believe this is the best course. Think of what may become of him now!"

"Fuck you old man! We're all strong enough to take those little bastards down now! We don't even need Jordan!"

"That is where you are wrong," interrupted the leader, silencing the group. "Jordan is essential to my plan. I didn't gather you all for nothing. You four are exactly what I needed. Of course I may keep secrets from you all, as I am still am. But that is for the sole purpose of fullfilling my goal."

The leader's pupil looked at the group and nodded, "Exactly. So I advise you all to behave yourselves, and shut the hell up. We only have to wait a bit longer."

The leader looked at his pupil and said, "Now, it's time for your task. Watch them. They mustn't be put in more harm then neccessary."

The boy sighed and replied, "As you wish."

The leader turned his attention back at the others now and stood up. "Soon, my friends and brothers, the worlds will all be set right. They will be put back on the path that was designed for them. And we will see the rise of the King of Darkness."

They all looked at each other before looking back at the leader.

"Dismissed."

All but the pupil disappeared, leaving him on his own to preform his task.

"Darkness."

"Can't see a thing...and yet..."

"This feeling....am I dead? The Darkness....is it gone?"

"Where...where am I?"

He looked around to see he was in a black chamber. He held his chest and felt an empty feeling fall over him.

He touched the side of his face, sensitive still from the previous battle.

He could feel no blood, but a scar instead.

He looked out of the window of his high chamber that overlooked the city.

The city of the Void.

The people.....

The buildings.....

And then he heard it.

It was no longer inside him, but was now all around him.

It was free in this world.

And then, it hissed out:

"Weeeelcome hooome....Joooooordannn."
