Yeah colours display better, brighter, more contrast. Sharper. Things look a better quality. IUts hard to explain really, things have more of a gloss and are clearer than on a PC. We use Macs for graphic design at college, and the difference is outstanding. I prefer MY PC and a specialised monitor that displaysthe colours adn everything bettter anyway. My monitor is specialised for graphic design. Something about a light crystallised somehting, cant remmeber but its in the manual. :)

Yeah its similar to that, but im sure its crystallised something. Its more technical, i remmeber reading 6 pages about it a while ago.

AS of PC, My PC is a HP one. Ill copy the spec, ITs very reliable, as long as you dnt overload it with games adn shitty software, you wont have to fix it. Its an archetype, that everyone has to always fix their pcs, but loadig dodgy software such as free online games, emulators, ROMS, dodgy hacking and encryption software, is bound to bust!

Anyway as i was saying, this HP is amazing! Never had a rpoblem, runs super fast, comes with a decent graphics card.

Nice. HP always is better IMO. But Norton? Norton sucks, way too protective. Man, they can't tell the difference when I played Frets on Fire, they think some part of the program is a bug >_>

    Funny.... for me ....

    X Slowed down my laptop!
X Let viruses in from 2000 on a 2005 edition.

lol you must all sucvk on pcs then, never had a virus with nortons adn im sick of losers saying it sucks, just cos it wont let them do exactly what they want, yeah its protective, yeah it scans everythng, but thats good, IT IS A VIRUS PROTECTION SOFTWARE. duhh. and u can ignore programs anyway, or manusally configure them, so it aint a poblem. You need to learn how to use it.

Macs running window simo is silly. as windows is what is more largely open to attacks from viruses lol.

I myself will own a mac and a pc soon anyway, though my pc is worth over £2000 so im not departing of it, its fast, has no probs and is pretty much top end in terms of playing games and being that style of machine, lets just say i can run crysis fine on it :) well my specs say i can.

yeah norton doesn't suck but I had to uninstall it ... it blocked every single site I went to after I got this nasty virus : <

Well, the only reason I would ever run windows on a mac is if I needed to use a program only on windows. It's useful for those occasions but I don't think I would use it regularly.

I'm thinking of getting a mac laptop and taking my current pc up with me anyway... a desktop would be nicer than always on a laptop... hopefully I have room though, lol.

Hey Hey Hey, I don't have norton with me, That doesn't mean that viruses are even easier to come onto my computer. On my computer, lagging is a specialty. When a scanner of Norton comes up, lags me. For me to use internet, I must disable Norton. What I look for is easier and more convenient. What if I don't enjoy configuring on what to ignore and what to protect from. I mean, I use Ad-aware SE Personal, and it protected me from harm when I was in it. If you know what I mean, I'm saying to me, I'm not a fixing type of person. Once some Trojan comes, scanned, and done IMO.

to use the inteernet, you have to disable nortons, what a load of frack... you configure it so it runs simulateoneously and efficiently. qand adaware does a scan, when you want it to, it doesnt permantely protect your pc.
