Pokemon: The Secret of Mew

>Alakazam's aren't slow Pokemon. They've got some of the best speed stats. Oh, and reading the match between you two gave me some questions I'll post in the OOC thread.<

"That is the bonus of adventuring. Experiencing things first hand." Tom looked down at the Teddiursa. "So that's him huh? Looks like he could grow into a strong Pokemon in the future." Ending with that sentence Tom stood up. "Well I should probably go find someplace to go do this damn homework the professor gave me. And I should probably find the professor's lab since that's where I'll be staying for the festival. See you around. Perhaps we will even go against each other in the tournament." He walked away from Kytes, Typhlosion quickly following him.

 

"So, you are the Professor Anemones from the Johto league. How do you do?" The Professor turned around to see the female veteran and the rich boy walking up to him. "Why hello there." "The name's Vayle." "And I am Richard. It is strange to think that a professor such as you is even here." "What do you mean?" "Oh it's nothing. Just that we think that you are better off doing your research. Never thought that you of all people can pull such a beautiful show. Don't you think that you should leave the show to people who are more suited for these fashion events?" "Now that is just rude. What gives you the judgement to decide who should and should not participate in this contest? It is for everyone who have a feel for art. It is within our nature."

"HA! Whatever you say. You are just the minority. In the end, only the rich and wealthy comes out on top. Toodles. Can't wait to see who will win this." "It doesn't matter. My Vullaby and other darlings will win this contest. I wonder how the results will turn out for you." The Professor was very frustrated when he watched them walk away.

"AND NOW! It is time to pair up our contestants! The first round will be Professor Anemones and the Musician Mackenzie. The second round will be the Veteran Vayle versus the rich girl Jamie, the third round, Richard versus the Clown Bill and our Interviewer Lilly going up against the Firebreather Dale."

"Ok. I hope I am ready. I can do this." The Professor walked out of the building and hurriend onto the stage to go up against Mackenzie. "Blitzie! Sing your soul out!" Mackenzie threw his yellow pokeball onto the stage and his Blitzie came out with sparks flying out. "OK DEERLING! It is your turn! The stage is yours!" The Professor threw his pokeball up into the air and Deerling came jumping right out. The Deerling landed on the ground with two of its feet standing right up and gave a bow, pushing a little bit of a cheer from the audience.

"Ok Blitzle! Use Charge!" Blitzle starts charging up, storing up energy to prepare his next move." "Hurry Deerling, use Energy Ball." Deerling starts spinning on his two feet and then sent a green, energized ball at the Blitzle with grace and land back on all four of his feet. "Ok Blitzle. Time to teach the teacher with a Charge Beam." Blitzle stored enough energy and shot out a beam full of electricity that was glowing with different colored lights and the beam completely engulfed the Energy Ball. The Deerling was shocked and was then hit by the Charge Beam.

"OOOOO! That is going to cost some points on Professor Akira!" "Deerling! Are you alright?" The Deerling staggered and stood right back up and was ready to fight back. "Ok. Go straight for him and use Double Kick." The Deerling starts hopping and jumping towards the Blitzle, trying to get in real close to take down the Blitzle. "Not this time. BLITZLE! Time to flash your way out!" The Blitzle used his electricity and put on a great display of his lights, blinding the Deerling. "DEERLING!" The Deerling was unable to see anything after that and stopped. "Now use Flame Charge!" The Blitzle began to charge at Deerling with fire surrounding it. Its speed steadily increased as it used the flashing lights to make itself look good. Eventually, the Deerling was hit by the Flame Charge and fell backwards.

"Uh oh! The Professor is losing points and he lost half of them already! Is this over for him?" "Deerling. You must get back up. Focus." "I think that we will achieve our victory theme. Blitzle. Charge!" The Blitzle starts to charge up while the Deerling was trying to get back on its feet. "Deerling. I know that he is a fast deer but you are just as capable of being fast. Just focus." "Too late. Now, use Wild Charge!" The Blitzle starts to use a different move and aimed to end the battle once and for all with his light show. "NOT THIS TIME! Deerling, dodge your way out with some flips and jump over it!" The Deerling starts to jump and hop about and then did a forward flip over the Blitzle. Eventually, the Wild Charge attack failed and Blitzle hurt himself. "Now go in there and Faint Attack your way!" "AYII!"

The Deerling act as though he is weary and then ran straight towards the Blitzle, hitting it. "Blitzle. Get back up." "Now double kick him into the air." The Deerling jumped on his back and starts kicking the Blitzle in the stomach as though he is a ball. "Now kick him back to the other side!'' The Deerling heard its command and jumped up into the air, kicking the Blitzle back to his owner. "AH! Blitz! This song is not over yet! Blitzle. Try to get back up and use Charge Beam. Hurry!" The Blitzle try to unleash an energy beam but the Deerling was ready. "Ok Deerling. have an Energy Ball ready and kick out as though it is a toy ball, quickly!" The Deerling prepared a energy ball in its mouth and shot it a little bit above its head and start using double kick to get the ball rolling.

"What an amazing trick folks! Deerling's aerobics is fantastic to behold!" "NOW RELEASE BLITZLE!" "Ok Deerling! Smack the Energy Ball at the Charge Beam and Camouflage!" The Deerling blended with the floor of the stage and kicked the ball at the beam, causing an explosion. Once the explosion ceased, the Deerling was nowhere to be seen. "What?!" "Now Deerling! Faint Attack him into the air!" The Deerling was the first to react and smacked the Blitzle into the air with its head. "Now double kick him and knock him down with one more Energy Ball!" The Deerling then repeat his routine, kicking the Blitzle in the stomach but only three times for the appropriate height that he needed. The Deerling then stood up on its two legs, spinning as he charged up natural energy and smashed the attack onto Blitzle's side as it was coming down. The Blitzle starts to slide across the stage and it was unconscious.

"Blitzle is unable to battle! He lost! The contestant who will be moving forward will be Professor Akira Anemones and his darling Deerling!" The crowd went wild as his other three pokemon jumped onto the stage to congratulate him and Deerling. "You were fantastic Deerling. But next time... hehehe. Let us pratice with our own speed, ok. More training for us."

 

"Whoa!," Zac said after the battle was over, he wasn't really interested into contests but the Proffessor did a great job in that, Zac never knew there was battling envolved in it. He decided to talk with the Proffesor to ask if he could help him with his skills, after all, the guy was a researcher in Pokemon, so maybe he can help out with his pokemon,

"Alright Z-pup, try to remind me to talk with that guy when he is done with the PokeContest," Zac told his Growlithe as they left the seats and decided to go to a Pokemon Center and get a room. It was quite big, the crowd to be exact,

"And after that, I'm gona prove to that Eevee trainer,"

 

Tom heard a massive explosion off in the distance as he walked throughout the town. "Hmm... I wonder if there are some strong trainers battling out there, away from the town where they wouldn't be found. I kinda wanna go look. But I probably shouldn't let myself continually be distracted like this. Whadda ya think Typhlosion?" The fire Pokemon simply rolled his eyes at Tom's question.

Ignoring the Pokemon's reply, Tom looked at his Pokegear to check the time. "Two missed calls? I wonder who. They must've called during my match or while I was watching the other matches." He scrolled through the list to see who it was that called him. "The hell? This is unexpected." His expression though was the opposite of his reaction. His entire face seemed to brighten up when he looked at who called him. "How long has it been since they've bothered to call?"
