  1. Even though that statement is completely false in every sense of the word false.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAA! Woooow. I'm hurting. I really don't care. I have a friend who says that she don't like black people and she's black herself. Even seen a white kid who came to a summer program at my church who get into fights with one kid two years ago, kept on using the nigger words and even throw rocks at one of the deacons of the church and called him a nigger. got kicked out for that. Why you don't like black people, you can either keep it to yourself or explain why but go overboard and I will go crazy.

Untrue. I slap my best mate many a times, he goes red. Its funny.

Is he's black? If he is, then I really must laugh at this. Need to show me a picture in order for me to believe this though. Also, did he went red in the eyes when you actually slapped him? XD

  3. Seems that summoner doesn't care at all!!! X-)

Yeah, the second joke wasn't really so bad, I suppose. I've heard worse, at any rate. The first one I find offensive because of the lynching reference. And you're right that it depends on how open minded the people involved are.

N***** was not always a disrespectful term. It started out as a neutral word for a black person, as a variation of the Spanish word negro, based on the Latin niger, which mean 'black'. It's only later that the term became associated with racism.

What exactly are you going to do about it if he does go overboard?

that is true but really if you say that today like if white person said that to a black guy they would say that is rasict, which is really dumb if you think about it, i mean why cant ppl just forget about that stuff it wont do any good, all that word as ever done is cause hate and mistrust.

Because when a white person uses it, it feels like a drug and just wants us to punch that person. I'm real serious about that and we might have got that rage from our ancestors. Several kids was talking and one of my friends was talking about how he was saved. When he was talking about a treat but forgot the name, another white kid was mumbling when he was trying to tell my friend what's the name of the treat. Me and three other black kids looked at him and I took off my glasses off because I was ready to rumble. He actually said Zingers and we all laughed about it and left it alone. Still, funny how one word can turn up the rage in a person and we didn't understand what he said until he said it in a clearer, sad voice.

Because the word does have a degrading, racist connotation nowadays. However, you were wrong in your previous post when you said that the word had been made up by white folks to be hateful.

Really, that's kind of stupid to get upset over some kid mumbling. Why would you think that what he said was n***** when he was clearly discussing snack food? People are too damn touchy these days.

Exactly, too many times today have I heard people say to me "Is it because I'm black?" or "is it because I'm not from this country?" when I'm trying to do my job as door boy (Check EVERYONE'S bags on the way out. I'm sure anyone finds it quite annoying/rude of me).
And with sensitive people these days, racist talks (discussions, jokes, etc) are usually carefully thought of before executed.

He didn't say it clearly which sounded like nigger so that's why we was about to rumble but we decided to ask him first before we do anything drastic. At least we just thought of it as a joke and moved on.

It's called, the US Justice system. You heard of it? People will sue for ANYTHING nowadays just to earn a buck or two. You know the "Caution: Contents may be hot" Labels on coffee cups from coffee places? It's because some idiot spilled coffee on themselves and sued for not being forewarned.

XD HAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! The person who spilled the coffee on themselves is retarded! Who ever had cold coffee before? Felt bad for the store who was sued because of a dumb person. As for the "Is it because I'm black" part, I find it funny in movies. As in reality, don't really find any meaning to it. What makes some things funny is when a white person comes up and say that they are actually black when they have white parents in movies. In reality, well... I'm keeping my mouth closed.

My point was that, in a discussion among friends concerning snack food, there was no reason for the word n***** to come up. So why would you jump to the conclusion that that's what he was saying, since, as you said in your post, the boy was clearly struggling to remember the name of the cake? And to actually want to fight over it?

That's annoying. Some people think everything is discrimination, or want to try to make it seem that way to sue people, as Moogle said. I'd have trouble being polite, were I working your job.

    Huh?

I be watching some movies that have that so you probably wouldn't understand anyways. XD I know. I'm so weird.

  14. Maybe you should stick to one point then :p

That annoys me so much. The only time it doesn't is when it is used as a joke, such as in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Frivilous (sp?) lawsuits need to be done away with. If there was a law saying something like if you lose a lawsuit like that you go to jail, people wouldn't be so quick to sue over stupid things.

  16. No one really wants sue anyone unless they really have anything in the way of that, like a job. Do you have any idea how long it takes to actually get to the courts even after you file the grievance for a bloody lawsuit?

No, what you said was that you and three of your black friends got offended and you "took [your] glasses off because [you] were ready to rumble." That is what I was calling ridiculous. You then said that you realized what your friend actually said and laughed it off. But if people weren't so quick to get offended that they don't bother to listen to what people are actually saying, this sort of thing wouldn't occur.

If people think they're going to get a big pay off, they don't mind waiting.
