Will smirked slightly, taking the gum and popping it into his mouth. "We talked a bit when we were in the general classes, before you hooked up with your internet crew." He said, tossing the wrapper to the side and chewing a few times before speaking. "Sorry about your friend by the way, he shouldn't have been killed like that. It's disgusting what they do to people." He said, adjusting his sunglasses before he let his thoughts roam. We need to stop this. Change this fucked up system..."

Liberty listened to Angel speak. She didn't know what to say... Suicide attempt.

"Alright, thank you, I'll be right in to help continue monitoring." She said as she hung up her cell phone and grabbed her lab coat not even bothering to change out of her PJ as she headed out, Ellen's file in hand. On her way over that's when she saw her. Hope, the girl she briefly met earlier that Ellen hid behind.

"Good evening." She said to the other girl only to realize they were traveling in the same direction. Slightly confused. "Not feeling well?" She asked the other girl as they approached the nurse's office.

Like other people, Tom quietly went into his room and locked the door. He laid down on his bed, looking up at the ceiling while thoughts swarmed around in his mind. "There's gotta be something to do. Anything to keep my mind off of this." His thoughts always returned to the events that happened that day. "Laying low and flying under the radar. That's the easiest way to manage this life. Just lay low until a point where you're free. But it wrong, sitting around and doing nothing. Something must be done." These thoughts fought with each other, Tom hating himself for his inaction and knowing that deep down he and everybody else who simply did nothing were responsible for the crimes that continued.

While having this moral dilemma, Tom happened to turn his head towards his desk. On it were stacks of papers and a small whiteboard with some molecule written on it. He got up and walked over to it. "Well I've already started making it. If I could only just figure out this last step. Perhaps I could give it to somebody. Even if I myself can't do anything about these things, I could help anybody willing to do something." Sitting down, Tom grabbed a few sheets of paper, writing out possible methods to solve this chemical problem he was thinking about.

After a few minutes of writing things down, Tom stepped out of his room. It was time to test his hypothesis; see if any of these actions would yield the product he was trying to make.

As she was on her way back, Hope saw a familiar face: Liberty. The girl who was with Ellen. "Hello." Hope said politely in response to her greeting. The two girls walked in awkward silence in the same direction, it became clear to Hope that Liberty was also walking to the infirmary. The only patient that Hope knew was there was Ellen... maybe she had friends after all? Her thoughts were interrupted when the brief silence was, by Liberty's question. Hope's initial response was sarcastic "Who would be after today?" she said grimly before answering her more directly "But I'm not here for that.... I brought a friend here earlier and my sister helped treat her, the nurse was understaffed I guess." she explained "I came to check on both of them." she explained. "And what about you?" as they neared their destination.

'One of my patients was brought in with an emergency situation.' Except that didn't seem like the complete truth, part of Liberty wanted to say a friend was brought in, but why?

"A friend... well a patient, was brought in, emergency situation. I don't have all the details exactly, another medical student was able to be on staff to assist in the care of that patient, something I'm grateful for, but as a doctor, being on call 24/7 for this patient, I need to be there at a moments notice, and though not close friends, I'm worried and I feel that I definitely need to be there." Liberty told the other girl, happy with her answer. When they got there she held open the door for Hope before following her in.

    She immediately saw Angel.

"Angel, what's the update? How is she doing?" Liberty asked, shockingly quickly before stopping herself and straightening her coat as she looked at Angel.

"I brought her files. Do you have a report for this incident?" She asked trying to regain a professional composure.

Aiden wasn't as disturbed by everyone else by what happened at the square. He watched casually, getting a little bored toward the end and afterwords being the first one out the door. He brushed past Angel again, seeing she looked really distressed. Shame... now wouldn't be a good time to talk to her. he thought to himself with a slight grin before he sobered up and wandered back toward his dorm.

The president's theatrics rarely bothered him as much as they bothered his father. He knew they were done to law breakers. Those who were caught anyway. If you don't break the law, or you aren't caught doing so, there isn't much to fear. His only concerns with life were living up to the expectations placed on him, and thriving in the life he was given. He was nearing the dorms when someone came around the corner, the two nearly collided before he managed to take a quick step backward. He took in the newcomer's appearance, recognizing him but not really knowing him.

He was one of the chemistry nerds that lived in his building. "Sorry." he muttered with a grin, "Tom isn't it?"

Angel smiled a little about Liberty's eagerness to know the status of her patient. She took it how she would have felt if she had patients of her own and she respected it. She spoke plainly to both Liberty and Hope "She's still out, pretty weak but all of her vitals are stable. I've been monitoring them periodically to be sure but I don't think it's necessary at this point." she reported the news, glad it was good. "She still hasn't woken up but she's looking better by the minute. But those bandages may need changing by morning in my opinion." she finished off. "I have more details in a report, yes." she answered Liberties last question, "It's on the table at her bedside."

Hope was relieved to know that Ellen was doing better. But something worried her, a girl that was so okay with killing herself had issues beyond physical. Her body may be getting better, but the true problem would't be healed so easily. She kept her concerns to herself.

Liberty sighed before proceeding to the private room that Ellen laid unconscious in. She walked over to the file and picked it up reading over it.

"Self-inflicted cutting, major blood loss..." She read over the report before looking down at Ellen and frowned.

"Ellen... I'm sorry... I don't know what all you faced before, I can only imagine... I want to help you though..." Liberty whispered thinking back to the current report of stabbing from minor previously.

Angel looked after Liberty as she entered Ellen's room. The sister's saw her laying there on her bed, looking pale but breathing. Angel was exhausted and it was obvious. She and Hope sat down on some chairs in the waiting area, "She's lucky you found her when you did. Even seconds later and she wouldn't have made it."

Hope nodded "I thought I was already too late."

"Well I'm glad you were wrong. Ellen seems like a nice girl. I'd hate to not have a chance to get to know her better, you know?" she yawned.

    "Yeah.... me too."

"Anyway, she should be okay now. It's just a matter of waiting for her to wake up.I'm going to bed... are you coming back to the dorm with me?" Angel stood, waiting for her sister at the door.

Hope smiled a bit "Nah I'm not tired, I think I'll hang back for a while."

"You sure?" Angel waited for a moment but Hope seemed pretty sure of herself so she shrugged "Okay, I'll see you later then." she waved, yawning again. Hope watched after her until she left the room, she sighed. Wondering how anyone could go through everyone Angel did that day and still look so perfect. She's always felt a little inferior to Angel about that. She leaned forward on her knees, her mind wandering back to the situation at hand. She wondered if Liberty or the nurse would kick her out soon, she just wanted to make sure that Ellen was okay. She wasn't even sure why.

OOC- Just so I'm not sitting entirely on the sidelines I'm posting as the nurse here.

IC- The nurse yawned lightly as she looked on at what was going on in her office. Hope and Liberty, she knew them both as strong girls, so seeing them so out of it because of a single girl... the thought drifted off as she realized just exactly what time it was, on assembly days, curfew is pushed forward a few hours and she nearly forgot!

"Liberty, it's getting late and I'm going to be away for a few hours. Please don't stay to long, you have classes in the morning after all. Hope, I know it's rude of me to ask on such short notice but whenever Liberty decides to leave, would you mind cleaning up? I'll call the principal to let him know so you don't get in trouble, alright?"

Tom had also taken a step back to avoid crashing into Aiden as well. Paying attention around corners was probably something Tom should start doing, unless he was totally okay with the risk of crashing into somebody each and every time he turned a corner.

He quickly examined Aiden, who wasn't familiar to Tom. He could tell that Aiden was part of the SOLDIER program; that was enough for Tom to know why he didn't know Aiden. "I'm sorry too. I tend to get lost in thought and not focus on my surroundings." Aiden knowing Tom's name was a bit strange since he never actually met Aiden before. "Yeah, my name is Tom. Or, at least that's what everybody calls me. Legally it is Thomas. Anyways, I don't believe we've met before, so I apologize for not knowing your name."

Jordan snickered, smiling at Will's remark. He held his head down, shaking it. "My 'internet crew'... Yeah, sounds about right. As soon as the people here taught me how to really do work a code, I made some friends online." He took a deep breath, and looked forward again. "Never was good at making friends around here. Everyone here is either a bloodthirsty fiend, an emotionless wreck, or just some kind of asshole. Always 'fun' to find someone who has all three traits." He spit his gum out into a trash can the two were passing. He stuck his hands halfway into his pockets, smirking at Will. "He fucked up. That's that. He fucked up and got caught. If I had a whip, I'd have given him a good lashing or two too." He gave a small chuckle, somewhat joking about what he'd do. Of course, had he caught up with Alex before the government, he'd have smacked him around a bit for idiocy. "But he didn't deserve what they did to him, you're right. No one does. But nothing much I can do at the moment. My 'crew' are a in a bit of disarray right now so..."

Hope was a bit startled by the Nurse's request. She thought it a bit odd, but considering that it was part of her studies to know how to keep a tidy environment, she blamed the request on that. The nurse was a nice lady, so she tried not to hold the ignorance against her. "Certainly, ma'am." she said simply.

Angel wandered back toward her dorm as the day got later, knowing curfew was getting close. As she got close to the building, though, she suddenly stopped. Looking around to be sure no one was looking at her, she avoided the front door and slipped into a small alley between them. It was darker than it was usually when she came back here but not dark enough that she couldn't find what she was looking for. Hidden under a loose brick in the cement between the buildings she pulled out a small back. She opened it, revealing various medical supplies stolen from her program and from the nurses office (whenever she could volunteer there).

She slipped in a few more that she had taken while she was alone in the Nurse's office after Hope left to change. A syringe with pain killers, bandages, and a few capsules of various medications. Taking another look over her shoulder, she zipped the bag up and put it over her shoulder, continuing into the alleyway. She wondered if she was too late. Would they still be waiting for her?

It didn't take long before her question was answered. In a small nook between the wall of her dorm and the brick wall surrounding campus was a small group of kids both younger and older than her. Most of them visibly injured in some way. All of them were victims of the school's outrageous disciplinary system. Unbeknownst to many, Angel had been treating them every night she could for about a year using medical supplies she could get her hands on after curfew. As she neared them she spoke quietly "Sorry I'm late. I couldn't get out of the nurse's office." she knelt down, opening the pack back up. "I'll help everyone tonight no matter how long it takes. Let's start with with those with the worst injuries."

Will smirked at the boy's comments as well. "Well if he was stupid enough to get caught, he deserved getting slapped around a bit. But no one deserves to be killed like an animal in front of a cheering crowd. It's disgusting. And honestly, I want to find a way to stop it. They've taught me to be the best soldier I can be here. I know advanced techniques beyond my years. There has to be something that can be done." He breathed, words rattling before he could stop it. He then smiled as an idea began crossing his mind.

    Liberty looked at the nurse.

"Ma'am, without do respect, perhaps you didn't get the notice, Ellen was assigned as my patient. With a case like this, though stable now, I need to watch over her. She's my assigned task for my class." Liberty said observing the blood cell counts.

"Once I'm finished review the reports, I'll be heading out but on account that an update must be kept with me." Liberty said to the nurse.

Liberty continued to write down notes as she watched the nurse dismiss out.

"Hope, isn't it?" Liberty spoke out, "Angel has in the report that you found her." Liberty began to say as she continued to observe the various technological devices hooked up to Ellen.

Jordan stopped walking, leaning his shoulder against a wall as he dug in his pockets for another toothpick. He stuck the small wooden stick into his mouth chewing on it slightly, less it break to quickly or poke his tongue. Toothpicks always helped him think and was an annoying habit he couldn't break. "Damn straight he didn't deserve that. Tch, and you wanna talk about knowledge beyond your years? I've been programming and coding since I was 12 years old. I'm the best goddamn hacker in this whole country. A fucking prodigy," he bragged, obviously giving himself more credit than he was worth. Unfortunately, however, he was right on several accounts. Best in the school, yes. One of the top tier in the country, yes. Would he ever show it, absolutely not.

And then there came the smile.

Jordan looked at Will with a curious look, toothpick poking out the side of his mouth. "What?"

Will's crooked grin widened into a wolfish smile, cracking his knuckles loudly before speaking. "I say we make them bleed. Make all the sacrifices worth it. Make them know that we aren't just pawns for them to push around. I want to break him. I want the president in that square, because I know then, everyone would be cheering..." He breathed, the fire in his eyes returning, that spark that showed he was willing to do anything to make this a reality. He then turned, eyes on Jordan, almost like he was a prized weapon. "And a brilliant hacker is just what we would need for stealth ops..." He hissed.

Jordan raised an eyebrow. The idea fascinated him greatly. Well not so much the idea, but from whom it was coming from and the intensity and seriousness of which he said it. Jordan snickered and shook his head, lowering his head. "Yeah, well a hacker can get a lot done, but what exactly are you going to be doing? Sounds like I put my neck on the dotted line and the soldier just stands on the side and swoops in for the final kill at the end. Thanks but no thanks William. I'll take my chances at going it alone."

Will raised his hand and laughed. "Try again, my boy. More like you keep the security and extra forces away, while I sneak in and do what I need to do. That or we find a way to start a revolution. Find a way to get everyone against them. Sadly that means open war..." He breathed, eyes scanning Jordan before he continued walking, motioning Jordan to follow. "I say we keep this to ourselves for now. No need to be put on the square ourselves, as that would be a waste of talent..." He breathed, looking towards the dorms, mind wondering where everyone was.

Hope nodded, pulling her hair back so she could start tidying the office. "Well.... I guess you could say I was with her." she explained. "We just got back to her dorm and I was leaving when I heard her fall."

The first of Angel's 'Patients' that approached was very young. Angel assumed quite a bit younger than her- possibly abount 13 or 14. The boy walked with difficulty but she wasn't sure what it was that was wrong with him. "Hello." Angel said politely, "You're new back here. What's your name?"
"Jamie." the youngster's answer was shy.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Jamie. I'm Angel. What is it I can help you with?"

The boy turned away from her then, and lifted his T-shirt to reveal quite a few thin, but long and painful looking impact wounds. Angel bit her lip, wondering if it was from a rope or a cane. She thought better than to ask. Instead, getting right to work. She warned the boy 'This might Hurt a little' before she applied an antimicrobial to the wounds. "I can get this started healing, and give you something to help you with the pain. But you must keep it hidden." she instructed him. "The pills belong to the school... and your punishment was not meant to be treated. If they catch you with them, you'll get in trouble. Do you understand?"

The boy nodded as Angel finished bandaging the boy's back with a type of medication that was meant to speed healing time, bandages, and tape. He put his shirt back down and Angel took some pills out of the bag next to her. "Don't take more than one of these a day. Any more will make you feel sleepy. You have enough to last a week, by the end of that week, you should start feeling better."
