    Just seen this thread. Your probably right on the forum part or the merger part since there's only four, english, KH forum sites running and none of them hold much visitation.
    But that said you dont have to give up on ploys entirely. Dont need to be desperate but perhaps you could sale yourselves differently?

    Most things today seem to be a part of a reddit or Social site...maybe it could be a social site community? I dunno. I'd like to think of an idea since this is the only forum I've seen that took the time to figure out how to keep their site going rather than the "KH3 will fix it" logic other sites told me countless times even as their memberships dropped daily...it's too late in the evening for idea brain I guess. Dx

    As often and lengthily I've waivered from activity on these (and other) forums (thus making my own sentiments somewhat hypocritical), I will maintain that the absolute worst thing we can do with this place is not use it. If we could all, somehow, find it in ourselves to keep up our own activity (and not become too cloistered within a specific section, then we can at least gain some extra ground.

    Though, if you ask this somewhat less-than-humble mod, it might also benefit us to do away with this very thread, as it, in and of itself, seems like a plea of desperation, rather than a genuine effort towards progress.

    Threads like this make matters worse to outsiders in my opinion. The place looks dead due to inactivity as it is without a big "Hey we're dying" thread plain and visible to all.
    Personally I don't use forums much anymore, or any social media. I only visit here lately because Hope asked me to. But I can't imagine the Kingdom Hearts brand is doing this forum any favors. Yes, we all loved it when we were kids. But it really doesn't have the same fan base that it used to. Forums in general are dying, one that's painted itself into such a small corner with a Kingdom Hearts theme doesn't help much.

    I know it's probably never going to happen. But I'm of the same opinion that I was before, the theme of the website should cover a wider audience. Like just gaming in general maybe.

    I spent a few years trying to bark up that tree. Unfortunately, by the time we had the means by which to do so (IE Angel buying the site and actually doing something with it) we were pretty much sunk.

    Hi.

    In all honesty, I only ever come on here to reread old RP/salvage old concepts. I spend most my time on a roleplaying forum that has its own wiki and universe and shit because creative writing.

    Don't get me wrong, I still like Kingdom Hearts, but I just don't care about it enough to talk about the same stuff over and over again when I could be talking about what new concept to introduce and build from scratch.

    and that has been my 2 munny on the subject.
